Rippology201
Only ten minutes ago at 9:42pm, from GateHub account I inadvertently sent 15 Eth to a pre-sale website when I should have sent it directly to my Ethereum Wallet first. This is the usual format for ico investments, but I made a mistake and only saw it after sending. Is there any way I can recall my 15 Ethereums? Anyone can help would be appreciated. Thank you. kickstart
Check the status on transaction on https://etherscan.io/ From my understanding, I don''t think there is any recall option. The other party will need to send 15 ETH back to your address .

Shouldn't they know that a mistake was made and send them back? I did already send them a message followed by an email.

All you can do for now is get their response to your return funds request and hope they are good people. Keep hounding until you hear from them. But the target site, like so many others, did say in writing if one was to send Eth from an Exchange and not an Eth wallet it will be ignored and/or lost. I do not reallly understand why they would be lost but as you say, keep hounding them until a response occurs. Thanks again, if no response by tomorrow, I'll sig the dogs on 'em. ciao. It also doesn't make any sense why they care where your coins come from. Not sure why it matters if the coins are coming from an exchange or from a wallet, it doesn't change the coins at all. To Mrcarrot, Khaleesi, Kickstart: Don't recall where I read it (hope it wasn't in one of the comments on this thread, ha), but did read somehow changes to addresses occur when sent from Exchanges rather than wallets. And now for the good news: The target site was SKARA-The Blade Remains (new game site, looks really promising), and I was trying to send ETH tokens but mistakenly sent from GateHub Exchange and not my ETH wallet. Within 24 hrs of an email sent, the CEO of SKARA, Cesar Ortega-Domene, located them and after proving they were mine by sending again a few ETH crumbs from the same site as originally sent (GateHub), he replied he would send them to my wallet. Finally, I suggested if he didn't mind to place them all into his SKARA ico pre-sale basket and send me a receipt. He obliged and this very evening I am in possession of a receipt for all my ETH tokens and now part of a community of soon to be SKARA SKRT token holders -- Yippee! Thank you all who were concerned and shared your thoughts. So, apparently, tokens never really get lost but temporarily misplaced, isn't that right? Was quite an experience. ciao. ps: The pre-sale ico ends in 2 days & 7 hrs of this sentence (I just looked it up.). I'm adding another statement to lessen any wrongful impression I gave when I said "Skara game looks really promising." It was glitzy but fighting movements seemed obsolete, not high tech, no real innovation in visual effects, etc. Anyway, I did compare the Skara game to several on youtube and Skara definitely does not look as promising as I first thought, unless it goes much deeper than what I saw; but again, the fighting techniques seemed antiquated. I am wishing I had not bought into it. Wanted all to know. ciao.
