GateHub Wallet

Hi There,

I’m new to XRP, I have created my gatehub account and my mobile number has been verified. I unknowingly made a transaction of ETH to Gatehub wallet, while my gatehub wallet is in disabled state. Since its first time Gatehub requires 20 XRP to activate the wallet and I deposited cypo ETH, instead of 20 XRP. I’m concerned now on what will happen to the transaction that I made and it was deducted from other exchange wallet but not showing in Gatehub wallet as my wallet still not active yet.

This is my wallet address:

rBLD5uNtWKfDbxDKAeqEM5V75bk4ngENWb

Could anyone guide me on this matter and what need to be done? Thank a lot in advance!!

Best regards,

Sri

No, you also first have to send a minimum of 20,5XRP to activate the XRP-wallet and then your account is activated....

You can also read this all on the site of Gatehub

Thanks Tonnie for your response. Yes, I did transfer 20 XRP and my wallet is active with the trust set to ETH. Unfortunately, my translation of ETH from GDAX to GateHub is still not deposited. I have sent few emails to gateHub support with transaction hash details but no response yet from past 4 days. I'm concerned about what happened to my transaction. Any help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you!

When you read further on the forum and other places you will notice that you are not the only one having this problem. I know people who were not even able to verify their phones on Gatehub. One thing I want to add here is that you need a 5 XRP reserve for each trustline you set. In order to use ETH on Gatehub you need to set a trustline for the Gatehub Fifth gateway. Not doing so beforehand might lead to problems as well. Sorry this is not promising. Keep grinding man. It is all going to be ok. Just make sure you get on as many exchanges as possible.

Hey, dont worry. You are expieriencing two very very slow factors: Gatehub and ETH transfer. Both extremely under fire because they are So slow.

Thanks Tonnie, Hope I will get them in and fingers crossed as its already 5 days now with no success.

Thanks a lot for your response.  Yes, I did transfer 20 XRP to activate my GateHub Wallet and from the wallet deposit tab that set the trustline for Gatehub Fifth gateway ETH. Do i need to transfer additional 5 XRP in addition to initial 20 XRP? trust line for Gatehub Fifth gateway ETH is active in my wallet now.  Did i miss anything else? Thanks much in advance.

I was under the impression you need to do this. When you check for instance https://bithomp.com/statistics you see the account and trust line reserves necessary to maintain. Not sure why your trust line is enabled when you only have 20 XRP.

Because it's Gatehub and they have no idea what is really working and what isn't :mail1:

This can definitely be a reason.

That's making me to feel nervous now and whats happening with my Transaction.

Shall i transfer 5 more XRPs now to set the trustline one more time after its already set active?

You can do this and try to issue a new ether transfer. There is no guarantee though that the former one gets through now and the new one may also take ages. Gatehub is a mess at this point.
