paulc6t
Hi, I am have trouble with my ripple wallet on Gatehub. I have at least 2000 XRP on my wallet on Gatehub. Back in Summer 2017 when I started buying my first XRP on Kraken and Bitstamp I did the whole verification process on Gatehub and they had funded me automatically the 30 XRP in the beginning. So I would reckon that it was automatically activated and I I transferred my first XRP (at least 100 XRP) from the exchange where I bought them. But somehow the wallet now shows up as "deactivated" or "Watch only Wallet" and I am unable to send out my XRP to my ledger. I checked using https://bithomp.com/activation/ and it says it is already activated ! However on https://ripple.com/build/ripple-info-tool/ it shows me the following info : { account_data : { /* Account, Balance, ... */ }, ledger_current_index : 35747443, validated : false } I tried using Toast Wallet on iOs to import my Ripple Wallet but it is giving me an error when I type in the secret key and the public key. "The address you specified has a regular key set, however that regular key does not correspond to the secret you have provided". I double checked the keys and I am not making any mistakes. Do you guys have any idea what is happening? Thanks for your help.

"The address you specified has a regular key set, however that regular key does not correspond to the secret you have provided" My guess is that someone or you or some service set a regular key for your account. Check your account here: https://bithomp.com/explorer If it shows regular key, you need to use a secret from that regular key and not the original secret key from the account. check also if "master" is spent... paulc6t
@Warbler I entered my wallet address in bithomp and it doesn’t give me any info about a regular key. it just tells me the date when the account was registered. it was activated by GateHub with 30xrp, sequence 1, my balance, reserved 20xrp, available amount, and the bithomp link. everything is correct. All transaction history match also what i did with that account. i bought everything on bitstamp and kraken and i systematically transfered all the xrp to the wallet generated on GateHub. If you have a secret key from it, try to delete it from gatehub and import again. If it's a hosted wallet, make sure your verified with gatehub, contact their support. paulc6t
i have a secret (advanced section in gatehub) for my wallet but it doesn’t seem to match the ripple wallet address. So i’m not taking any chances of deleting that wallet on my Gatehub account. thats my whole point, Gatehub has generated a faulty secret for the wallet in the first place. I looked around on the forums and last year some users were having the same issue. Something linked to a buggy Ripple-lib or something on Safari. I also created my account last year and was using Safari. @enej from Gatehub was looking at their issue one by one. I’ve contacted support and i’m still waiting for their reply. would also be nice to hear from those users from last year and know if they indeed got their issue resolved. caongoc
hi @gatehub my wallet has been in watch-only mode for almost a year. i have over 100,000 XRP in it. please help!!!
paulc6t
@markos77 @caongoc this is still very troubling to know that some users still don't have access to their funds due to the safari glitch on Gatehub's platform from last year. Some users got refunded last year, but some of us are still left hanging and waiting. Why the special treatment @gatehub? We've been waiting for at least 6 months now... caongoc
@paulc6t @markos77 there ought to be some legal actions we can take against @gatehub right? I mean how can they be so irresponsible with people's money???????
markos77
Can we get someone from gatehub to reach out directly?
paulc6t
@markos77I've had no success in reaching out directly to someone on GateHub. I tried Linkedin but the few people I found there were either ignoring my problem, not responding, or not knowing anything about the issue. After one or two messages, they just stop answering. Tried twitter too but that didn't bring me any further. Although I was able to find a couple of users on twitter who have had the exact same issue in the past, they were obviously not able to help. Those couple of Twitter users however confirmed to me that were given support last year and they actually did get their funds back from their "watch-only" wallets. That's the most worrying part : previous users were refunded, and now nothing for us! The same has been going on with @gatehub here on xrpchat forums. You can clearly look back at previous posts and see for yourself that @enej was helping out and refunding users in 2017, but now that account seems to be dead. While I had a couple of PMs back and forth with Ursa (GateHub support) in the past months, now I'm not getting any responses anymore and it seems to have reached a dead-end. The discussion were not getting anywhere : @gatehub claims they can't do anything about it, and we can all agree that the problem was caused on their platform. So logically it is their fault and they should take responsibility and refund us. I honestly don't know what to do anymore...
