Guest
Hi, I'm going to be buying some more XRP while it's down. Hopefully grab it at under $2. I'm sending either BTC or ETH to Binance via Coinbase. With ETH way high right now, am I better off buying BTC and sending it to Binance and just deal with a 12 hour wait on it arriving? I know ETH will arrive faster but I should have more purchasing power with BTC (more XRP) or am I missing something and it doesn't matter if I do it quickly? Thank you! southern9
Send to Gdax (coinbase) first. Then it’s fast and free.

I bought ETH this morning on CB and transferred to Binance to buy more Zerps and it took all of ten minutes.

Is there a benefit if sending ETH from Coinbase to Gatehub to send to GDAX in the middle? Just trying to find out why I have seen so many people say to send from Coinbase to GDAX before sending to another exchange?

Awesome! The last time I used ETH it took me about 4 hours. That was last week.
DoWhatIDo904
I believe it's no fees to gdax then lower fees to whichever exchange you're using. Edited January 11, 2018 by DoWhatIDo904
Hope777
It's the BTC fees that can kill you, they vary according to how busy the network is. I have had a fee of $80. on top of the exchange fees before. I always use ETH from coinbase
latetothegame
Ok, looks like I lucked out and just got a new account on Binance tonight, so if I buy on ETH on Coinbase it sounds like I should send to GDAX first and then onto Binance to save a bit in fees correct? I would just send it to Binance. Their exchange fees are low. I haven't used GDAX
