Jonsereds
I set up my Gatehub wallet with LTC-->XRP via Shapeshift, and had no issues. I then moved some BTC to from Coinbase to Gatehub. It was a couple hours before the BTC settled at Gatehub, but once there I had no issue trading for XRP. I also converted BTC to USD, stored it on the Gatehub Fifth USD Gateway, and then bought XRP with the USD. Again, no issues. Now I have moved .096ish Ether to Gatehub. It was quite some time (over 24 hrs) before Coinbase showed the transaction as "completed." It is now almost 3 days since the transaction was completed on Etherscan, and still no ETH in my Gatehub wallet. Looking at the transaction, I see that 0.096ish ether was transferred into my Gatehub wallet address, and then 0.089ish ETH was transferred out of my wallet address, and into wallet address 0xA1cb7c6056ca3924B452f9ED016776dd7C4bcE5a. I assume this is reflective of some fee, fine. Oddly, this address does NOT correlate to either hot/cold ETH address on the https://www.gatehub.net/gateways/fifth/ page. I have sent more than one message to @gatehub about this, no response beyond the auto-response. Can anyone explain this ETH hop-scotch to me? Brahmesh
The case with me. But it was 12 days 12 hrs. Still I did not get my ETH. Even I have transferred 30 ripples to my account from Kraken that i got. But, Im not getting my ETH. Also, I have noticed that the ETH was changed. When I transferred it was one address in my wallet. Now, it is different. Frustrated. Not sure what to do.
Jonsereds
Did it go to the same address that I posted? I am hoping this is some sort of general @gatehub wallet address....
Brahmesh
Nope. It was different.
Jonsereds
Okay.... Have you ever transferred ETH to Gatehub before? Do your previous transfers exhibit the same behavior? And what address did yours get bounced to? I tried looking at the BTC transfer I did, but the site that tracks that didn't have the data presented the same way Etherscan does. I didn't have a lot of time to dig in, but I hope to tomorrow.
Jonsereds
A little explanatory assistance would be greatly appreciated. So my ETH made it to Waithub's hot-wallet 0x1595c383f52e474b28b5e6b4b8f72e92c1461474 a couple hours after it was transferred from Coinbase. Fine. It has sat there ever since. It was part of block 4861175. Is anyone else's missing ETH Gatehub transaction part of this block? Does anyone happen to know how long coins typically sit in Gatehub's Hot Wallet? So to speak, what is the trigger or mechanism that moves them to a user account?
Jonsereds
Update: The ETH arrived. Well.....most of it.... https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/32A1C81603994482D9F8D46F0BACED22AA8180D877662A71B1C50540F8351669 The transfer started out at 0.096ETH at Coinbase. 0.0699 ended up in my Gatehub acct. The suckiest part is that theose jackazzes took long enough that I missed the ETH spike / XRP dip from a day or two ago..... Anyhoo, not wanting to screw with it anymore, I just exchanged it all for XRP and will be moving the wallet. 6+ days from Coinbase to my Gatehub acct. ********. Looks like I got myself sucked into this mess too. Told myself I wasn't going to do BTC again and just do ETH since it was quicker. @gatehub definitely screwed me here as I missed the dip as well. Haven't been waiting as long as you, but I've been waiting 24 hours.
Jonsereds
Like the notes of a fine wine, the irritation really matured as the transfer ages. ?
