Lost password to wallet - am I out of luck?

About a month ago, I purchased XRP and transferred it to my GateHub wallet. 

To store my passwords for all my Crypto Currency wallets, I use Last Pass. When I signed up for my Gatehub wallet, I used Last Pass to generate a secure password. I then copy and pasted my GateHub recovery key inside my Last Pass vault, figuring if I ever needed it, it would be there and safer than a screenshot on my desktop or writing it on a sheet of paper. 

Well, about two weeks ago at this point my computer crashed and logged me out of all of my browser extension, including Last Pass. Turns out I have forgotten my Last Pass password and the only way to recover your account is to use a "one time password" that Last Pass stores locally on your computer when you sign into the account. Since my computer crashed, it seems to have deleted the one-time password that was on my computer, and I am now effectively locked out of my Last Pass account, and in turn, my GateHub wallet. 

I've been back and forth with Last Pass support and they've told me there is nothing they can do to recover what was in that vault unless I remember that password. 

I don't want to be one of those idiots who has a wallet full of crypto with no way to access it, but for now it seems I'm that idiot. 

I've tried contacting GateHub, but they haven't responded.

Do you guys have any advice for this situation? Has anyone dealt with anything similar? Any and all advice would be appreciated because as of right now I have given up hope that I will see any return on my investment.

Unfortunately, I'm working off of a Mac and I don't have Time Machine set up. 

The hard drive is fine, but the computer shut down on it's own and when I rebooted it I got a pop-up saying my computer shut down unexpectedly. Some files that I had saved recently were also deleted.

So that's the problem. In order to reset your password I need to use the Recovery Key, which is locked in that Last Pass vault.

I'm sure support can work something with you, it would be ridiculous if they can't

Eu estive de um lado para o outro com o suporte do Last Pass e eles me disseram que não há nada que eles possam fazer para recuperar o que estava nesse cofre, a menos que eu me lembre dessa senha. 

Eu não quero ser um daqueles idiotas que tem uma carteira cheia de cripto sem maneira de acessá-lo, mas, por enquanto, parece que sou idiota. 

Tentei entrar em contato com o GateHub, mas eles não responderam.

Vocês têm algum conselho para esta situação? Alguma pessoa lidou com algo parecido? Todos e todos os conselhos seriam apreciados porque, desde já, abandonei a esperança de que eu veja qualquer retorno sobre meu investimento. 

 

Estou com o mesmo problema e até o momento não consegui gerar uma nova senha
