Sold My XRP Today - Here is why

Recommended Posts

People come and go , buy and sell, it's all good. Personally, I'm still betting on Ripple's vision for XRP. It takes time. The OP must have held for what, a month or two? But if someone wants to sell then by all means sell.

I'm not saying OP is correct in his/her assertions, but with XRP going down all day today, and the whole Coinbase announcement scaring day traders and short termers, I get why OP did sold.  I'm long XRP but the current price really is based on speculation and rumors.  People bought the rumor of Coinbase and sold the "news".  There's a lot of FUD going on right now and the casual investors don't care to do their DD.  If banks start using this, they will get their supply directly from Ripple and the exchanges won't necessarily be effected by it.  Exchanges are whales and personal investors who do get scared off on bad news or no news.  If they get scared off once, why will they come back if they're making better gains in a different coin?  This brings the price down because volume just isn't there.

If you understood the amount of money that will be flooding into Ripple in the coming weeks, you would be a ******* fool to sell now. I'm talking about ******* hundreds of thousands of smart people who do lots of research before investing are stuck waiting on Exchange verification.

There's a fine line between brilliant investments and horrible execution of exit strategies. I pray for your soul that this doesn't haunt your sleep.

Buh bye!

I'm really wondering why you felt the need to list all of your debate points and (IMO) partially-informed perspective, but go on with your bad self and good luck in the future.

I don't think most people here have a problem with diverse viewpoints, but most folks on this forum are highly knowledgeable about the company and the coin, so your argument isn't likely to impact anyone but the very least informed, which is regrettable.

If you're OK with the possibility of having purchased the bitcoin pizzas, the rest of us don't mind.  Cheers!  :bye:

This is the real issue and why I wouldn’t bother to wish this person well.  It reads like a point by point FUD drop.  Completely unnecessary and is either disingenuous or just itching for attention.

It matters not to me if he/she does well, but being civil doesn't cost me anything.   My point was to question the OP's motive for the long, drawn-out, weak argument.  I believe I know the motive, but I enjoyed raising the question. ;)

I'll add to my post that FUD is a very dumb term. People need to investigate, validate, and analyze for themselves. FUD is just a word to dismiss contrarian viewpoints. If my post convinced anyone to sell then that's their decision. But my opinion is that if someone read my post and did not do their own research then they have a poor decision making process.

Dumb?  It’s a catch-all phrase and I’m sure you know what it stands for.  I wouldn’t consider the laundry list provided merely a contrarian viewpoint.  Many of the issues raised have been debated and answered for months.  Additionally, these points have been spreading like wildfire on twitter ever since the price jump.  No matter how reasonable a manner it may seem to be presented, the motive seems clear.  Most of the people here have already done their own research and are quite comfortable with their decisions.  Good day.
