I respect your decision and admire your bravery posting such a thing on xrpchat. I will personally save this thread and always go back to it when I am lost and in need inspiration on what not to do! Thank you for being apart our community farewell ex HODLER.

Haha thank you, I am getting reemed for sharing a bearish viewpoint on an XRP fans website! lol. It's all good. I do have some bullish thoughts on XRP that I did not share which are pluses for the currency but I just feel the cons outweigh the pros at this time.

But we dont need to make it soo hard for people to sift through all the junk. There is truth and there is non-truth. There are levels of understanding that people need to progress through. We should make it as easy as possible for people to understand.

Not really sure if this last statement on the OP's post is from someone that has a question.  Or from someone that is clueless.  FUD to me

"I am pretty sure XRP will crash, it may go up to 20 dollars but it would be purely on speculation as I don't think the currency will be succesful. There are so many red flags with XRP it is not even funny. I enjoyed the ride up but know that the ride was all hype."

do we really know how much xrp each of the founders own now after giving away a portion to charity? i would think it's less than 5b each that i constantly see thrown around?

They're filthy rich and to be honest I don't care. In that Zero Hedge article it says that it's a "nightmare" that the CEO of Ripple is richer than Mark Zuckerberg. I actually think it's awesome! I can't stand Facebook.

@CryptoMaster1000, many of us (including me) enjoy contrarian viewpoints.  We do not want to become an echo chamber.  However, as I stated in my prior response, I do not think you ever intended to hold XRP.  I think you may have been here just for the ride (there is nothing wrong with that).

It is interesting you seem to think Bitcoin could go to $1 million.  This would give Bitcoin a market cap of $16.7 trillion.

$16.7 trillion/100 billion = $167 per XRP.

Ripple is going after a much larger market than Bitcoin.  And it is not plagued by the incessant infighting.  Time will tell how successful XRP will be.

Best of luck in whatever investments you make.  This entire space, including both BTC and XRP, could blow up at any moment.  :)

I am at a loss for words. I never imagined Bitcoin would take off like this. When I first saw it hit 300 I thought it was at the top and in a bubble, I have been proven very wrong. Where will it go from here? I think it could go to 1 Million but I am not sure. That would make 1 Satoshi, the smallest denomination of BTC, worth 1 penny.

I found an interesting article that is a good read.:

Simple Bitcoin Explanation - The Most Undervalued Asset In Human History: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@keithsmih/simple-bitcoin-explanation-the-most-undervalued-asset-in-human-history

Thoughts? Is this a bubble? Where are we headed from here. I think if BTC takes off towards 1 Million XRP will see big gains as well.

Your going to kick yourself in the *** in exactly 30 days

I just don't get why you would announce that you sold coin at a .70 loss. Don't get me wrong, I've made lot's of bad decisions regarding timing so I get it. I'm just not going to tell anyone the specifics like when I forgot to hit the buy button on Kraken and ended selling a truckload of coin at a loss :scratch_one-s_head:Oops.

Anyway, I agree with the above statement because this rapid and recent decline is prelude to a ginormous jump soon.

Okay, you just opened the door.  Exactly 30 days?  Do share

as you can see i'm starving for news or rumors.  I don't even care at this point.  :D

I think a lot of us are, there is no rational reason for the rise and fall, except speculation / coinbase fuckery/TRON buy-a-thon

I didn't know XRP chat only allowed bullish viewpoints? Don't you want a diverse community of bears and bulls to have a balanced source of information? All bullishness posts can be very misleading to investors.

It isn't "bearish" to regurgitate the FUD arguments that have been addressed time and again on this forum, it's not that the members can't take constructive criticism it's just very tiresome hearing the same $hit over and over again.

Hi Sebastian, you are correct that I am just here for the ride and the ride was much faster than expected. If XRP had a Relative Strength Index (RSI), it would be through the roof! As you saw in my post about bitcoin, I am not completely against XRP and it could be very successful. I just think it has gone up to much too quickly and a correction is likely. I anticipate a big announcement coming out soon for both litecoin and bitcoin and may ride that wave a bit. I suspect, with all the altcoins and very impressive transactions per second, that bitcoin and litecoin will have no choice but to implement the "Lightning Network". If you haven't read about it you should take a look. This change would give litecoin and bitcoin the capability of processing millions and possibly even billions of transactions per second. My guess is it will come to litecoin first and then bitcoin will follow.

Although I was one of the first to respond to this topic, I'm slightly disheartening to see this Topic with 50+ responses and going on it's 5th page.

As a community let's try our best to ignore this kind of stuff for what it is. This Topic deserved  1 or 2 responses tops. Let's move on.

So you sold your xrp... You got some money... You want a cookie now too?

I have my hang ups about hodling... And if I express them it's because I'm seeking reassurance, or perhaps an explanation for something I don't understand.

Once you have sold, you really have no reason to be here... Unless you hope to buy more... Or are just setting yourself up for the "I told you so!" on the inevitable dips... Either way kind of a jerk move.
