XRPSTONE
So everytime I go on Kraken Ripple price is very low compared to coinmarketcap.com. Is coinmarketcap misleading? For example right now coinmarketcap.com Ripple price is $3.33 but on kraken its $2.80. Anyone know why? Thanks, - Stone
syns75
the prices on CMC are a volume weighted average of worldwide exchanges, asian markets trade higher so it skews the average price posted on CMC XRPSTONE
automatic
In my experience, CMC listed price always seems to be 10% or so higher than actuals seen on Kraken, Poloniex, Binance etc. Maybe CMC pulls their price from Korean exchanges where the exchange rate is higher? Whatever the case, go with what you see on your main exchange and ignore CMC. XRPSTONE
Grimpler
Go to CoinMarketcap.com. Click on Ripple. Click on the markets tab. It will show you the price Ripple is trading at on every exchange. Ripple always trades much higher on the 3 Korean exchanges, this is what makes the Coinmarketcap price always higher than US exchanges. Guest
Binance is at 2.60 right now. Almost $1 less than what it was this AM EST.
