However we did get a call from Kiwibank though, to ask if we were sure we wanted to proceed as the account was based somewhere random like Slovenia.. They basically said if we did proceed and anything went wrong, that they wouldn't be able to help us recover our money - basically they were covering their ***. But we've made about 4 separate deposits to Bitstamp and had no issues. I'd stay away from things like Bitprime and the like though. Yes, they are NZ based, but they have an absolutely ridiculous premium of like 20% that they add on top of you deposit because they act as a broker between you and the traditional exchanges like Bitstamp. @Trickery, been thinking about setting up an NZ club for all the kiwis on here, you keen? If you're wanting to buy XRP in NZ easily and at great rates, Easy Crypto would be your best bet in 2019.
