retep
On 30 december i spend 1000 euro's to buy bitcoin and got 0,08471 bitcoin in my gathub wallet At the time i bought them, the bitcoin price on coinmarketcap was about 12.800 dollar. Now just 5 minutes ago, the price of one bitcoin is 14.650 dollar, and when i would want to exchange my 0,08471 bitcoin for euro's again, then i would get 804,- euro's, so what the hell is this? Because bitcoin went up about 2k since i bought mine, so at 0,0847 btc, i should have made a little less than 200 euro profit by now, but instead, i get 200 euro's less than i invested, so can anyone tell me what's going wrong here, or is it just that gatehub want to butt F me hard and dry, or am i just stuppid? I hope the last option, because this can't be true and must be some kind of a mistake i made

at3n
Gatehub is not ripping you off, but the other people trading Gatehub Fifth BTC IOUs are. Gatehub can't control that, although if their servers could handle the current load better, the markets would even themselves out faster.

MooseInTime
I would consider moving away from gatehub to a different wallet at some point Their companies house filing history (UK legislative body that regulates companies) makes for uncomfortable reading IMO https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09311138/filing-history Their accounts are published there, the worry is in their latest accounts they report zero provision for liabilities. The two directors reside in Slovenia and the USA, not the UK. Edited January 2, 2018 by MooseInTime
