I have no idea if this is authentic or not, but I did notice one thing. One of the transactions had a memo that decodes to:

{"id":"1941caa0-1650-4c92-9867-18439ef6a42a","sig":"f5b8f1958b010cafe1287842b216d3c4ee3779ef26b07b9b4b48090acb4be335"}

That ID is in a similar format to Coinbase's transaction IDs. For example, I have a Coinbase transaction whose ID is:

868XXXbd-55XX-XX19-a0XX-86e7XXXX46d5

The X's are hex digits I anonymized. That said, this looks like a GUID, so maybe other companies use this format too.

Thanks for weighing in ??

This is better than watching the movie national treasure.

Before jumping to conclusions, you might want to check the official guideline from GDAX / Coinbase about the conditions a currency / token must pass before being listed:

Obviously XRP fails some of them so unless Coinbase looks the other way aka waiver or change their policies ... not sure how XRP addition can be explained

Yea, I read that, so I tend to lend towards that direction............................But.  If there is one coin that Coinbase can make a freaking killing off of, it's XRP.  So, there's always that.  It's a business.  They'd be smart to add it.  Or Cardano.  One or the other.  Don't think it would be Cardano tho.  The only coin out right now that is hot on the fkn presses is Ripple so.  It's the logical choice from a business point of view.  No other coin will get that pop.

Man, I feel bad for the dev that did this. He'll probably face a massive legal action.

If the video is real it was most likely a hack,,, all the wiring in the background looks like it could be a sophisticated hacker,,,, its pretty believable I wouldn't be surprised if its real Coinbase users have been petitioning for XRP for a while and you know what they say the customer is always right:D

Can you explain this. I'm just not seeing the connection? And I'm tipsy, the letters get all blurry when I zoom in.

Also ... look at the address bar and the HTTPS certificate. The real one is accredited (it lists the name of the company), the video is just a simple "secure connection". Good job for those who made it :)
