CNC
Hi Everyone, Noobish on here but HODL'r. Bought in early 2017. Used Bitstamp a few questions: -can I just leave my xrps on Bitstamp for immediate future if I am a HODL ? pros/cons of that? -if I have a Nano S (I do) is there a recommended tactic/guide to move specifically from Bitstamp to the Nano? -I presume that if I do place XRPs onto the Nano that if I was ready to "sell" that I would simply use the Nano to plug in and "show" some exchange like a Bitstamp that I have X amount of XRP to sell and then sell? -Has anyone in US sold via Bitstamp and if so, how does that process work? It seems reading here that Coinbase seems best exchange for processing deposits/transactions but of course they do not deal in XRP yet. So just wondering people's recommendations on best process to capitalize if indeed that was something an XRP holder wanted to eventually do? Thanks everyone - happy to be part of this online community. I think XRP is great tech and we mustn't be concerned with recent spikes - it's a marathon not a sprint and I have to tell myself that often. Tonnie
Hi, just saw that you didn't recieve a reaction, so here it goes. I'm from Europe, so can't tell you anything about US etc. I bougt the Ledger nano S a week ago and just got it. I just transferred all my xrp to it. Was pretty easy. Just have to install the ripple on the Nano S and the ripple wallet software on your computer. -can I just leave my xrps on Bitstamp for immediate future if I am a HODL ? pros/cons of that? If you're a true HODL-er than my advice would be to put it on the nano. Just safer and prevents you from doing something stupid (like selling). if I have a Nano S (I do) is there a recommended tactic/guide to move specifically from Bitstamp to the Nano? No, it was very easy. Just make sure you use the XRP-withdrawel option in Bitstamp. Destination tag is not necessary. -I presume that if I do place XRPs onto the Nano that if I was ready to "sell" that I would simply use the Nano to plug in and "show" some exchange like a Bitstamp that I have X amount of XRP to sell and then sell? Well selling is blasphemy, but you just send your XRP back to the adress in Bitstamp. But this time you will use the destination tag. Time to send is approx 10 sec. Can't help you here...
