Bitcoin BTC won’t arrive to GATEHUB

I had success doing this over a week ago with a small amount of bitcoin. If you sent to the bitcoin address Gatehub gave you for the deposit it should show up as bitcoin in your wallet under Gatehub fifth. Then you need to exchange the bitcoin for xrp on Gatehub.

You should have probably recieved an email requiring you to open a trust line before the transaction will go from Coinbase to Gatehub. Once that trust line is set up it took a couple hours for the bitcoin to go through.

Now a question I have for anyone else is what kind of fees did it cost you? I started with about $150 of bitcoin on Coinbase and sent it to Gatehub as a test and it cost about 30 percent in fees as I ended up with only about $100 worth of bitcoin in Gatehub. Is that fee normal? I couldn't tell if the fee was percentage based or if it was a flat bitcoin amount for any transfer.

Not 30 percent that’s way too high

there something wrong there you should know

did u trade or did u exchange? Because by doing any of this options the fees u pay may vary as well!

BTC fees on CB are ridiculous. Next time buy Ether to use to trade on another exchange.

I "sent" it from Coinbase to Gatehub. Coinbase shows a fee of .00226 btc of the .00998349 total I sent. Someone else mentioned they were bitcoin miner fees and I would have been better off using ethereum.

Ok finally got an email from gatehub with the message that I should set up a trust line first. However, when trying to set up the trust line I get the very useful: error, unknown error.

This is really not a good first experience :(

edit: reading the javascript console, this seems to be the error; "RippleError: Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded"

When I look that up I see a lot of users of gatehub with the same issue. I'm starting to feel I lost my btc :(

I used evercoin to exchange BTC for XRP and send it my wallet. 30 ripple, enough for the activation, open order and trustline. Hopefully that will free up my BTC I "deposited". Gatehub and ripple really have a high learning curve to get started. And nowhere on the gatehub support pages is it explained properly.

does any one found a solution? why gatehub doesn't answer support questions?

i want my bitcoins :(

There should be a law that say's that when your deposit doesn't arrive within 24 hours, the deposit must being transfered back to where it came from.

As soon i get my coins back ( don't know how yet) then i'm done with gatehub, because i do read alot of  crap al over the internet, and it's not causing problems form the last few days

but for a looooooong time now, so gatehub sucks bigtime and people should walk around it as if it was a killer dissease. Man, do i regret that i signed up at gatehub. If only i

would have did some more searching where to get a ripple wallet. Damn fool i am. 1 day on gatehub and hate it already to the bone

Same thing here! I sent BTC from Coinbase to Gatehub BTC address to activate the wallet. I got mails saying I need to set trust line. But getting error when I try to do the same. Could anybody help activate the wallet? How do I get the initial 20 XRP? @enej

It is a Shame.

I transfered BTCs from Coinbase to GateHub 2 days ago.

They have "lost/..." my BTC and I can not do anything.

I had more than 20 Xrp in my wallet, I made the trust with BTC, I did everything possible but they stay my money.

I double checked the wallet ID,  I traced the transaction and the BTCs arrived correctly but they are not shown in my wallet.

More than 10 claims on their web were opened by me. Of course, no response.

PLEASE AVOID Gatehub if you do not want your money to be "lost/...".

Please make this abuse be known to as much people as we can to avoid this unfair company. I have read in different blogs and Twitter that hundreds (may be more) of people are suffering the same problem.

EDIT: 3 days later my BTCs arrived. Late but they arrived.
