How to sell XRP smoothly

Recommended Posts

It will be a while before I choose to sell my XRP but that day will come.  Of course, I want it to go smoothly. I am fully verified on an exchange but my XRP is sitting in  a cold wallet.  I have read that some people have had trouble getting their money out of some exchanges.  Does anyone have any suggestions on smoothly getting the fiat out of the exchange and into my bank account?  If it matters, I am not a trader and I live in Europe. Thanks.

do you have a bitcoin market in your country ?

exchange and direct your bank account ?

Are you suggesting to change XRP to Bitcoin and then to fiat?   How will this help?  It seems like it adds an additional step. Thanks.

XRP<->USD on BitStamp and then international wire transfer?  If you were cashing out a very large amount it would be prudent to communicate such a movement of funds beforehand with the exchange to ensure things go as smoothly as possible.

Why will things go smoother if the XRP is first converted to USD?

You need it in some form of fiat when you transfer from the exchange to a bank account.  Do you prefer euros?  BitStamp offers XRP<->EUR as well.  Again if you are cashing out a large amount of XRP you should definitely consult with the exchange beforehand.  Also, if you are looking to optimize earnings from a very large XRP stake you should consult a specialist who can help you liquidate your XRP holdings on an exchange in a cost-effective manner.  You might even realize slightly better gains if the XRP is moved between various exchanges to chase the highest exchange rate possible.

This is what I was planning on doing. Is there a reason why this is a bad idea?

It’s not necessarily a bad idea. It has an extra step that may not be necessary.

Planning on cashing out via bitstamp by breaking up XRP>USD into chunks..... Start with a smaller amount then gradually increase as everything goes smoothly.

smart. Screw it would rather lock in thousands % returns...if it crashes I got more cash to buy more...

if it goes up...screw it I still got some in the game
