GAC1848
Hooked up to my Nano this morning and it showed my correct balance then I refreshed it, and it's showing zero account balance with no withdraws. I disconnected and rebooted everything. It's showing correctly now. Any ideas as to why it shows zero randomly?
Internethobo
I've never had that problem, but it is probably not synching fast enough or connecting properly. I just go here: https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/graph plug in the XRP Nano public address and see the account balance. No need to keep plugging in the nano. Sandy_Eggo
This is the stuff that nightmares are made of. I had something similar happen once. Restarted the ledger wallet app and it fixed itself. Just a SW bug. Stop connecting the Nano to check; those micro USB connectors can wear out / get loose and fail. John_Buh
There is an update - I just installed it and waited for the refresh. All is well.
CryptoEspi
I made a video skip to 3MIN mark for fix, like and sub if you'd like! Edited December 29, 2017 by Sosovoo
Iggy
I once had an empty balance as well, but I solved it by refreshing (there's an arrow refresh button in the wallet). Seems to be a common issue. Edited December 29, 2017 by Iggy

I've had the inverse before, i.e. shows zero then after a few seconds and/or refreshing once or twice, it shows correctly. Yes, minor-heartattack stuff! It's probably just a delay while it decrypts and contacts the network.

Do you see your correct balance if you enter your public address on https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/graph? If yes, it's (only) a problem with your Nano. Still frustrating but at least your xrp is still there. If it's 0 there as well, you should see when the transaction happened and to what wallet. billbrad
Thank you, I have not been able to get back in since...When I was in this morning I did see the last transaction was when I sent XRP and ETH. So I am fairly sure it has not been sent out to another wallet. The issue is loss of public keys I believe. I am a bit of a newbie with the NANO S. And a newbie when it comes to looking up public keys like you suggest. I cannot get back and view anything....I panicked and thought I better log out and try again to see if that may fix it. When I returned it said my password was wrong then I went through the entire 24 words reset the password. When I get back in it is like there is nothing in there even the accounts had to be down loaded again. I am really shocked, after reading all the threads here a lot of people lose access and therefore their money through this problem. I has worked really well up until this morning...I just did not look in my account for around 6 days. Thank you for listening!
billbrad
I just followed through and I can see the XRP transaction but how do I get it back into my Nano. I think the ETH is there and the BTC. I took a screen shot. If I have lost it all its 1500usd (All coins) but nobody wants to loose and it was only a trial to learn all about it! Now I am totally scared off.
