Compilation of Fiat to Ripple XRP Exchanges

Recommended Posts

Everyone knows Bittrex, Binance, etc. but I've been trying to find more fiat exchanges that sell XRPs directly by bank transfer or credit/debit card.

If there are any inaccuracies or if you have exchanges to add, comment and I'll update the post!

Global Exchanges

Restricted to Specific Countries

Please add BTC Markets (https://www.btcmarkets.net/ Melbourne, Australia).  Much larger exchange than coinspot but only trades the top coins atm (XRP, BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH and ETC) all with AUD and BTC pairs. Australian customers can use bank transfer (Bpay) or POli Pay to fund their account with AUD.

  • Bitstamp (usd, eur)
  • Kraken (usd, eur)
  • Gatehub (usd, eur) - not recommended, low volume
  • Exmo (usd, rub)
  • Coincheck (jpy)
  • CEX.io (usd) - see restricted countries
  • Bitso (mxn) - see restricted countries
  • BTC Markets (aud) - Australia only
  • Coinspot (aud) - Australia only
  • Bithumb (krw) - Korea only
  • Coinone (krw) - Korea only
  • Korbit (krw) - Korea only
  • Bitcoin.co.id (idr) - Indonesia only
  • Koinex (inr) - India only

CEX use the same shady Polish bank as Bitfinex et al. Good luck getting you rmoney out. Oh, and also you can deposit XRP but cannot withdraw it. So you're trapped. Ha!

Kraken use Tether so they're already suspicious AF -- avoid

dunno about the others ; bitstamp seem legit, as do gatehub, but obv gatehub suck and the exchange rate & liquidity is laughable

avoid anything that uses Tether or Crypto Capital -- most likely criminal / tax evasion / fraud ...and/or ID theft involved somewhere

ALWAYS CHECK EXACTLY WHAT BANK RELATIONSHIP(S) THEY HAVE!!!

check the registration / msb / fincen details etc... make sure docs are up to date... are founders based in suspicious countries, etc

I have all my ripple in kraken why is tether suspicious and what is it? Also what is the safest place to store it and save it? I just made a gatehub account.

read this: https://medium.com/@untetheredbtc/how-the-tether-usdt-distribution-system-works-84a5c673bec0

safest place is offline/cold wallet storage or something like Ledger Nano S hardware solution

as online wallets go, gatehub's not bad IMO but you know, it's still another exchange/wallet you gotta "trust"..
