Crypto_TC
Hi Guys. I'm needing some Coinbase help and I figured I'd ask here since many of you use Coinbase to buy XRP and nobody from Coinbase can ever be reached and their horrible autobot chat program is of no help to me. I recently tried to fund my Coinbase account by Wire [after 3 failed attempts due to their horrible information of trying with my debit card]. However, it's been a couple days and there is no record of my $$$ or even that I made the attempt to fund. I recently got an auto sent email from Coinbase now saying my account is incomplete and I need to choose a payment method! Obviously I've already done that, in fact I've done it twice! The first time I tried funding my Coinbase account with my debit card which failed 3 times! Next I used my bank account and sent them a wire which I've confirmed with my bank the wire did indeed get to their bank. I understand the bank wire can take up to 5 business days but : 1. Why is there no record of me filling out the payment method OR of my funding / funding attempt? Their dumb system should be aware of that even if the wire hasn't been approved yet... I've tried their 'help' system which is a horrible chat bot. When I ask the bot for a person it displays I can chat with a person if I click a link but when I click the link it just goes back to the same chat bot text messaging system. I've DM'd CoinBase on Twitter and I get no response. I've called a phone number for Coinbase I found on the internet and nobody picks up the phone...1 (888) 908-7930. I've never used this horrible company before and I've sent them over $3,000 USD so I'm a little concerned. Can anyone tell me how I can talk to a human being that works for Coinbase support in the account funding deposit? So far this is the worst company I've ever done business with and I'm disgusted. Incorrect information, horribly run, can't even get a person on the phone to speak with nor does their online support via twitter every reply back. Things like this is exactly why Crypto Currencies won't be taken seriously until they're insured. I have no idea if Coinbase is trying to steal my USD but at least I know my bank should get it back if they are. If I were trying to transfer Crypto currency and someone steals it banks / nobody will do anything... Thanks in advance for any help or information... emelen73
Although I'm hodling XRP elsewhere, I'm stuck in the 'validate ID' process and have been for a few days now, despite uploading photos of ID etc. I think you just need to be patient and understand that there is a backlog of applicants / processing they need to get on top of, all at the wrong time of year for a lot of companies.. If you have verifiable proof of transactions and transfers to/from/ your account I think you'll be fine, but you may have to wait until the holiday season has passed and they've caught up with themselves.. I'm no Coinbase shill / fanboy, just trying to offer words of reassurance.. Keep screenshots of your progress / transactions if you can, just in case.. Best of luck.. I've got rejected as well because of that. However, downloading Coinbase app to my android phone and uploading the ID photos through Coinbase's app did solve this problem. Maybe you should give it a try

If only they made that perfectly clear during sign-up, I wouldn't still be waiting.. I'll have to do the verify thing tomorrow, when the sun is out.. Thanks again.. bloodhound
The reality is that Coinbase and others, but particularly Coinbase, have become massively overloaded with the sudden "awakening" to crypto in the last month. They were doing a pretty reasonable job keeping up a few months ago, but the explosion in the last few weeks is clearly more than their infrastructure was ready to handle. I'm not defending them, I"m not really a fan, but that's the situation. emelen73

Most of them were not properly ready for massive & sudden scaling. emelen73
Crypto_TC
After 5 days of no sign on Coinbase about my wire funding attempt from my bank to Coinbase and not being able to ever reach a person to talk to I called my bank and told them get my money back. My bank's phone support told me he's heard a lot of bad things about Coinbase and how nobody can ever reached. I've tried to get in touch with a human at Coinbase every way I could find and never once did any human being ever respond back to me in 5 days! There isn't even any pending deposit or anything indicating my money had been wired to them... I tried their worthless chat bot. Twitter Coinbase support. Twitter Coinbase CEO. Email. Phone number. Not once was I ever able to communicate with a person. Not once did anyone respond back to my many attempts to find out where my money went and why my account wasn't setup... Can anyone here recommend a good place for U.S. residents to buy XRP / other crypto currencies? Please do not recommend Changelly.com or Coinbase.com. Thanks.
