Andy_79
Hello together I`m having Problems with my Ledger Nano S. I can send XRP from Bitstamp to my Ledger S without Problems. Sending those XRP back to Bitstamp will result in an error. I just wanted to test this in the Event of wanting to cash in in maybe 3 years or so. Many thanks Andy

CT99
Does anyone know if there is an issue sending XRP to the Nano S from coinpayments.net? I seem to have set up the Nano ok, installed the Ripple app etc but I tried to move some over as a test and the transaction just canceled. Thanks. eric17
for CT 99, you would want to make sure you disable browser support in the ripple wallet> via settings.. Then it should be good to receive and send (first transaction must be 20XRP min) and curious to know why it's not sending back to your bitstamp wallet.. Did your XRP just go back into your ledger ripple wallet? CT99

Jdp
I had a similar issue as well on my ledger transferrring XRP's, which scared the s* out of me... I had a failed transaction and tried again 3 times. Each time I got a failed transaction. Later I noticed that the amout of XRP's I tried to send was effectively sent 3 times. Beware when you get an error message, check your balace each time before you try to resend. The amount might have been transferred, despite the error message. CowardlyDog
Im having mini-heart attacks. I went to my Ripple wallet app after plugging in my Nano S. The application said there was an update available to i clicked install where it opened up my chrome browser to the Ledger website. Hit instal, went through the quick process and restarted computer. Open everything back up and the same update prompt is still there. Figured it may mean I need to install it on the Nano S so I hit ignore. Let it log in and sent Xrp to Bitstamp. First i did a test transfer of 20 xrp from Nano to Bitstamp and received a error, but I refreshed the home page on the ledger wallet to see it did actually go through. Then I sent the rest of my coins to Bitstamp and that went through easier. After all this I tried to install the update on the Nano S by going to the chrome extension app that manages Ledger apps. I hit install and got an error, hit delete, got an error, then i gave up. I then sent my XRP from Bitstamp back to Ledger and the transfer went through. On the Ledger wallet computer app it shows 0 xrp after refreshing even though the transfer went through. I verified by every means possible. If I let it sit a minute, then refresh it, it shows my actual amount. Hit refresh again and it disappears. Questions: Do I actually need to send XRP to a holding account when doing updates? How do I verify the Nano S is actually up-to-date? Why do I have to refresh so much just to see my actual amount? Thanks in advance. Pablo
Be careful moving coins - any coins - back to an exchange. Most exchanges have shared wallets which require you to include your own account-specific tag provided by the relevant exchange. If you don't include this important tag information, it makes it pretty hard for the exchange to find your money and deposit it into your account as your money ends up in the general pool and the exchange might not (want to) find it. Some even have terms that allow them to keep your funds if you don't include the account tag. Did you include your personal account tag to the tag field on your Ripple Ledger Wallet? When I transfer from Ledger Wallet to bitstamp, Yes. When I transfer from Bitstamp to Ledger wallet I put the address, amount, verification code and for tag I put "1". I put 1 as the tag becuase I don't see any destination tag info on the Nano S nor the wallet application. Either way the funds transferred but I had problems viewing my funds unless I refresh it. Do you think this is an application error, node error, or...?
Andy_79
Thanky you everyone for helping me, everything works fine now. It could have been that Bitstamp was having Problems two days ago. I tried to send a small amount from my Ledger Nano S to Bitstamp yesterday and it worked just fine :). Mpolnet
Hello I am also having issues with my Nano Ledger S. I have updated the wallet the plugged in my device and proceeded to the Ripple wallet. I have only sent XRP to my Nano Ledger S and never from. My wallet shows all of my deposits however it shows a balance of 0 XRP even after refreshing multiple times. Any advice on what to do? EDIT: I spoke to soon - the issues seems to be resolved. I quit the ripple app on the ledger device and then logged back into it and that seemed to reboot the ripple wallet balance.
