Serk03 Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Hi All I have deleted the default wallet on Gatehub which contained the 20XRP given by Gatehub. In addition to there was BTC that i had been waiting for to be transferred into that wallet which was issued on 21.12.17 over 21 hours from my Coinomi wallet and still didnt transfer. I have the transaction id, and the wallet address for this transaction. Could the funds be recovered to my new wallet on the same account ? I really would appreciate the help on this matter. Thanks Ripple wallets can not be deleted. You can remove access via Gatehub, but the wallet remains on rledger and will do so as long as the ledger is online. MaheswarhaRaaj Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Hi There I am in a similar situation here as well, whereby i am kinda newbie as well in the gatehub account, I Created an additional Ripple Wallet (Called "BTC") using that wallet, i used the Deposit Option of using BTC, with the following BTC Address 1HNqa3Xhma6v1owPEf2dXncgbHZtb5xzNy. Just while i was doing something, i accidentally deleted my Ripple Wallet (Called "BTC") and now i am worried am not going to receive my BTC, because this BTC is used as deposit to enable my wallet, and when i received the 20 XRP from Gate Hub, i should have transferred it to my other Ripple Wallet (Called"BTC") and enable the trustline, but i have deleted them, and now i am worried that i will lose my BTC have read some forum where it was saying we can restore if we have the secret key, but the problem is i only saved the recovery key, was not aware of the secret key till the wallet got deleted. is there any chance i can recover it back somehow.. appreciate if anyone have suggestion or advise i have also dropped a msg in the customer support but no reply yet till now thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thanks A little clarification, you didn't transfer bitcoin into a ripple address right? Also have you checked the confirmations on the bitcoin transfer? Some have been taking over a day lately. I tried the hole day but it said: wrong password. Im sure i used the right password because i wrote my password en recovery key on a piece of paper. The next day I tried to make a new account with the same email adress what was possible. Realy strange. Then i tried my recoverykey but i didn''t work. The i deleted the second account and wallet adres what i made wit my email.. And then gatehub does not send me an email when i tried to recover it my recoverkey. Send alot of email last days but im affraid i have to wait along time for a reply. I send them my wallet adres, all the information like passport and bankaccount, what I uploaded whit signing in. I've surged on my wallet adress on internet and al my ripples al still there !. y With signing up the say the recoverykey is really important, but i can not use it.. THE MOST IMPORTANT IS YOUR SECRET KEY !!!!! You can import your ripples to other website without be dependent of gatehub ! I can logg in to the support page with my account and then i see my Account name that i used by signing up. e Gatehub please help people who have the recoverykey but have problems with loggin ! MaheswarhaRaaj Posted December 30, 2017 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Hi Guys, Just update you guys on my issue that i had as per the conversations before, so i created a ticket for the gatehub support team on the 20th December, and i got their reply back 2 days ago, and it has been sorted out. they have re-stored back my wallet in my gate hub account, and my BTC also arrived safely after enabling the trustline. prolly it made them easier , because i was also able to provide the ripple address account that i deleted and the BTC address. i hope you guys as well get your reply soon....
