Guest
At GateHub, we are currently working on improving our wallet with the following enhancements: - Automatic ripple wallet creation and funding on signup; - Separate KYC process: different gateways will require different verification levels (some may only require a mobile number verification, some also identification documents etc.); - The ripple wallet will support depositing and withdrawing to and from any network (SEPA, Ethereum, Wire...), so the hosted wallet will not be required anymore for deposits and withdrawals; The reason for this topic is to receive feedback from you - what changes would you like to see regarding our wallet and how do you think we can make it better? Yes, it will be possible to deposit and withdraw from each ripple wallet without hosted wallets. Do you have any other wishes?

Do you have any other wishes? Well, I always welcome innovations on the trade screen, but it's been able to do everything I've needed so far. The two-factor authentication setup was clumsy for me, I remember, but I'm past that now. You guys are doing good work!

Takio
To me transactions part is not too good. Part where you can see your past transactions (reporting). Not sure what all to change on it though.

Those improvements will be a great step forward I guess. I would even suggest to drop the hosted wallet as it will not be needed anymore with your proposals? It's better to minimize the screen & future of the Ripple wallet in a "regular view" combined with added features in an "advanced" view, rather than the confusing separation between hosted and Ripple wallets. If you still see a need for a hosted wallet service, why not go for that one as an only mobile app, completely separated from the Ripple wallet and with that one more targeting mobile (micro/social) payments? The only connection between both than being the KYC/AML information.... I also noted some problem/bug in the exchange tab: When I try to exchange 500K XRP for ETH the GUI says "done" .... but nothing has happened? If you would want to explicitly have a hosted wallet you will still be able to create it. We think it is a good idea to allow users to have part of the funds on hosted wallet since in a case of the forgotten ripple secret this funds are recoverable. 21 minutes ago, kanaas said: I also noted some problem/bug in the exchange tab: When I try to exchange 500K XRP for ETH the GUI says "done" .... but nothing has happened? This is because the exchange works on "fill or kill" principle which wont allow you to execute a buy if you go bellow or above the current market price for more than 5%, which could resolve in an unfair trade. The way you do this larger trades is to go to the trade view. We will add a warning for cases like this in the next release. Thank you for pointing out this logical bug. RDS
Hi Guys, Any news about Australian gateways. Because in absence of that we have to still pay the conversion costs( roughly about 8%)while depositing and withdrawing funds, which defeats the purpose of using XRP. Thanks Rama Morty

Mercury
I wonder if an inheritance/ trustee feature would make sense? Something similar to Google inactivity manager where you can add trusted friends or family members who can access funds after providing proof of death or power of attorney. kanaas, RDS, Morty and 1 other
