Also, buying on Gatehub kinda sucks, you'll want to get on some type of exchange at some point. Bitstamp allows CC purchases, which is why Im waiting for approval. Will make it a lot quicker. did you feel safe giving your social security number?
Guest
They are pretty reputable, so it was ok with me. I do have a credit monitoring service so I am aware of anything that occurs.

Each day they are texting me asking what's going on and why is this process so hard. I understand a lot of people are trying to buy XRP and open accounts, but taking over a week to verify an account is pretty crazy. Keep in mind the 9 people and me want to invest a lot of money. Does anyone have any tips or ideas on what to do? Thanks for your guys help, this forum has been great! T Binance is a good exchange fast kyc. AdamM
I suspect bitstamp are just trying to get ahead of the regulators and will likely find all exchanges in future who want to operate in the US will require this identification. So they can keep tabs on you for taxation purposes. Personally it doesn't bother me, anonymity in crypto isn't going to last once regulation does come and it will better to be on an exchange you know will pass the fed test. buckor

I haven't seen any CC purchase option on Bitstamp. I am a Canadian, have to give out my Driving License and than wired money to them.

We do have money on "coinbase" but is it possible to be able to put our money in coinbase and send to gatehub, so then we can possibly buy XRP? Just trying to see whats the quickest way to get into XRP. do you have any btc or eth on coinbase? once approved on gatehub, setup the btc/eth gateway and send to that wallet (my experience). depending on your country, it could be a pain to setup the fiat gateway. buckor
My bitstamp account was set up in 24 hours. This happened at Thanksgiving. I felt confident giving them the info they requested after some research and recommendations from people I personally know who invest in crypto. HoosainMadhi
I was verified after 5 days. Received 20 XRP is my wallet. I activated ETH Trustline as I deposited 0.1ETH on the day I signed up. It is now over 12 hours and no ETH in wallet. Very frustrating indeed.
NMNR
If possible, try and become verified or sign up to as many reputable exchanges as possible. In case you need to sell or buy, you want to have as many exchanges at your disposal.

JustinS
If it's this hard to buy, imagine what it will be like to sell when it hits $10, $100, $200 etc. There will be a stampede then with us all trying to cash in
