dontpanicjp
Hi guys, yesterday I sent a few ETH to gatehub to buy some xrp at a discount. It's been 14 hours now, and still no signs of the transaction. What is worse if I see my wallets adress transaction history in etherscan, it shows that the transaction was a succes 13 hours ago, and just a few minuts later there is a transaction out of my adress to another one. None of this is showing in my Gatehub transaction history. Is that normal or I just got screwed over? Has anyone had the same problem in the past? Fleshmeister
Yeah, that's pretty normal. I had to wait a week before i got my bitcoin. The support was utter trash too, they even lied to me about getting my coins in 2 days. You will not get scammed but it can take forever. Personally i don't use gatehub anymore because of that. dontpanicjp
dontpanicjp
Yeah I got a quick response from their support quickly and then nothing. Thanks for the clarification, I hope I dont have to wait a week, I'm pretty sure if that happens I will mis the next xrp wave. The thing is, I sent ETH to my gatehub wallet in the past few days a couple of times, and it took 3 hours max.

Yeah, @Fleshmeister is correct that's pretty normal for GateHub. I almost had an aneurysm myself when it took them almost 24hrs to send my BTC to Poloniex. What happens is that Gatehub automatically transferred your ETH to an internal ledger of theirs. From that ledger, they will "credit" the account web interface (what you actually see when you login). For some reason, they have huge problems with the synchronization of those internal servers / ledgers for all the coins, XRP included. For a detailed explanation see their FAQ on this page:https://www.gatehub.net/gateways/fifth/ dontpanicjp

I understand that "issues" will arise, but their lack of transparency and support leaves me with too many doubts about the company as a whole. Renny
Quote I think GATEHUB.net is a scam, I used to deal with them a lot in the past, but they start using their dirty tricks, once it took them like 2 weeks to give my coins back, in 2 weeks, I lost money because of them, if you open a ticket, they will never reply, you may get a reply from them just to tell you some non-sense lame excuse. I wish there were more sites like gatehub.net Gatehub.net always has problem, there is no a single day that gatehub is 100% functional. BTW I am also in the same boat waiting for my ETH to be credited, most likely in 1 week. Edited December 16, 2017 by rennychj
