Buying XAU

Recommended Posts

I am so confused.

I enter an order for 4 XAU at 44.99 XRP - 407F86113678DCEC357D50259BAE70F19B49880B745549A101B21B838E48D9DE

An order shows up for 2.9114 XAU at 44.98

Can someone please explain this?

And 0x9193950611728d64882e63f2a3d378899204022f8bdefde20571c138e4aa6aa6

has not been posted in (at this point) 3 hours. There are ~700 confirmations

Perhaps someone could explain that as well.

I am trying to buy xau/bpg

I would like to withdraw 10 grams of gold

I think if you look at the transaction id you will see

DESCRIPTION:

This is an OfferCreate transaction.
rPUPve1DTX7AYPwf8poKUFiC5kMK8yCX4E offered to pay 179.96 XRP in order to receive 4XAU.rcoef87SYMJ58NAFx7fNM5frVknmvHsvJ.
The exchange rate for this offer is 44.99 XAU/XRP.

The order does not show up as 4 @ 44.99

Something else shows - 2.9114 XAU at 44.98

Also

If you have had any experience withdrawing gold from BPG I would like to know what you thought of the process.

TIA

So, you posted an offer for 4 XAU. That transaction you mention:

https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/407F86113678DCEC357D50259BAE70F19B49880B745549A101B21B838E48D9DE

show that the offer was created.

I don't know where you are getting the '2.9114' figure from? Where are you seeing that?

I didn't believe it either. The first try was 4@45 You can see on the right where I cancelled it. It shows "to sell 180"

Gatehub sometimes seems to get confused between buys and sells. Remember a 'buy' viewed from the other side is a 'sell'.

So you put an order in to buy 4 XAU at a price of 45 XRP each.

The cancellation order is just viewed from the opposite side, and shows as a sale of 180 XRP in order to buy XAU at 0.0222 XAU per XRP.

I cancelled the first order because it looked bizaare as well. It was 4 @45 that is why the cancel is for 180. I understood that. I cancelled it just to be sure. What showed in the book was something similar to what happened with this order. I have left the order there and started a ticket.

I was planning to buy more, take out ten grams and go from there. That now seems unrealistic, well at anywhere near spot. Oh and it has been over 24 hours for my eth transaction. I have been thanked for my patience. Like I have a choice other than to (I do not see the correct emoticon)

Sorry, I still don't understand what the issue is. Maybe there is information you have not shown on the screenshot?
