engine44
If I have some XRP listed on the XRP Distributed Ledger but don’t have an exchange account, can I create a cold wallet with the Nano S? Or do I have to have an account with an exchange? Thanks.

You mean whether you can import your wallet onto the Nano S? I sure hope so! Ohhh, I see. Not sure. You can create a cold wallet with Jatchili. at3n
If you already own a wallet with XRP in it, then you can transfer all but 20 of the XRP straight to the new wallet that will be generated by the Nano. No need for an account on an exchange if you don't have one already. But you do need a way of making the transfer, so you'll need to use either a software wallet or an online service like www.theworldexchange.net or Gatehub.
