I wonder how well received it would be if you tried to make a mortgage or utility bill from your bank account only to be presented with a message like that.

in my opinion all exchanges need to get their house in order to ensure fluid transactions if and when the customer needs it.

two different things.....we don't pay our mortgage/utility bills through Bitstamp (or other exchanges).....it's the exchanges experiencing difficulty, not the actual XRP product

Hey team! 

I have been reading the comments on the chat for sometime now and finally decided to join. All the way from New Zealand! :)

I too use Gatehub, have had ledger issues when buying/selling for 2days now and not been able to log in to my account today at all as I cannot get the email confirmation from gatehub. 

Hopefully sorted soon!

Well obviously not but point being is if customers (let's call them that) couldn't access their funds from their bank due to latency issues then there would be some extremely unhappy people. Why should exchanges be any different?
