Arteman
Hi I am new to the chat and this is my first post. I just bought my first coins ever a week ago on Coinbase and learned about XRP so I started a GateHub account also and started a wallet with 20 XRP and then purchased another 520 or so XRP. This was only a few days ago and today I got on my account and for the first time it says I have no XRP in my wallet at all, its all gone. I am sick to my stomach and need some advise please. Am I missing something? Where could all my coins have gone and how can I recover them? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can't have zero XRPs in a wallet so it is best to wait until this chaos dies down.
Let_her_Ripple
You should be able to see if you've been hacked - the transactions will all be recorded on the ledger. If you can't see any transactions in your Gatehub account, go to https://bithomp.com/explorer/ and put your public key in the box (public key is long string that will start with the letter 'r'. Looks similar to rhUYLd2aUiUVYkBZYwTc5RYgCAbNHAwkeZ). On the bithomp explorer you should see all your XRP's.. or, if you have been hacked, you'll see where they have gone to. Trickery
If your Gatehub ac says 0.00 then Gatehub is down, you can't have 0.00 XRPs in a wallet

I really have no clue what I am doing with these accounts and wallets other than following steps given to me to try to achieve what I want to do. I logged in and seen 0.00 in my wallet, then clicked on my wallet and still it said 0.00. I logged out and remembered this site from when I was trying to learn where to start an account for Ripple and seen lots of good info here so I signed up to ask about my account. After posting I went back and now it shows my balance all of a sudden. It wasn't there a minute ago and now it is back! Thanks again, and sorry to waste your time. I have so much to learn about this and hope by the time I build a good amount of coin that I am smart enough not to loose it all. Thanks again for replying, apparently Gatehub was down at that moment and I panicked.
Let_her_Ripple
Glad to hear it. I'm still/always terrified of losing my stash too, so it's easy to empathise with the moments of panic you must have felt!
NanamiIsLove
Gatehub is experiencing trouble with displaying the correct amounts on wallets. You can always use some other Ripple wallet explorer to check.... https://bithomp.com/explorer/ https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/graph
