nosaj10358
First of all, my only goal was to buy some XRP (Ripple). I already had some Bitcoin in Coinbase. So I signed up on Gatehub, clicked the bitcoin address within the wallet, then went to Coinbase and made the transfer. After 55minutes, it was successfully completed. So, then I go to Gatehub and realize that my wallet is not activated! Then I read some more and figured out how to activate the wallet on Gatehub. I did that and got it activated within minutes. So all good, right? Nope, now its 3 hours later and still showing a zero balance for BTC. To sum it up, I sent $400 worth of BTC to an non-activated Gatehub wallet. But then activated it shortly thereafter. So is this a problem? Is it simply a delay? Or did I make a stupid mistake and throw away money? Thanks for any insight! nosaj10358
I thought this was a place for Problem Solving & maybe someone else had ran into the same problem and would know the answer. But thanks for your helpful answer, I appreciate it In the interest of being helpful to another person, I did actually receive the BTC in my account. So it can, indeed, be sent even with a deactivated wallet Edited December 11, 2017 by nosaj10358
antonelli182
I did the same thing (Sent ETH in my case). Now that the wallet has been activated I hope the ETH will appear there soon.
