Does Joel/David next Friday Announcements mean 15th or 22nd (possibly CHAPS/BoE date?)

So many possibilities it makes little sense to speculate so I suppose just looking for the date - 15th or 22nd?

I believe we are still waiting on more info from the Fed on their Faster Payments Scheme.

Then of course there always the other big tech players in back of mind... Google, Apple, etc.

Given the timing of the announcement of 5PM PT, seems probable it's Japan/China/India related but who knows. Excited to find out.

Not sure on this one. It'd be nice if he clarified if it is a joke. Seems rather specific and lacking the clearly outrageous statements his previous joke comments contained. You may be right hard to tell.

It's kind of sad to see the community so desperate for news/price movement btw (not targeting the author, but in general), I've been around for some time now, but it was never this extreme. There are a lot of threads currently literally clutching at straws, just chill out guys.

It's Monday and I'm down for some positive news, even if it's murky at best.  The note about two partnerships that haven't been announced yet that are both non-bank, brand name companies - has that been disclosed by Joel or another employee before?  Brad was clear they were saving some announcements to Q4 so....I'll be giddy on that one if no one else will.  The Friday 5pm Pacific comment...well yeah it's a bit direct for Joel to be kidding though he was responding to a "moon" comment.

I guess what I'm trying to say is...it's MONDAY AND I BELIEVE!

Because if your crypto isn't going up 10% per day it's a sign that it's a complete failure.

Crypto market is conditioning everyone to become like ADHD kids. It's truly horrifying.

@iLeeTAgreed 70%+ of general discussion is filled with investigation of potential partnerships. I think we need a rumours section. It is very sad to not see discussions of the tech, I guess this is one of the trade offs when Ripple made it clear the core focus was financial institutes, "community" is on the side lines trying to find any information they can get and not exactly encouraged to build its own products.

I don't think many of the legitimate long term investors care if the price skyrockets like some of the shenanigans we've witnessed over the last few months.  Right now with the escrow in place I think the idea that we might start to witness organized adoption of XRP is exciting.  It least this is how I try to enjoy the investment ride.
