with the app, is snapswap included anywhere? I can see bitstamp, but not snapswap

Although I previously was positive about snapswap and btc2ripple, I have now second thoughts. Recently I was requested by btc2ripple's compliance department a copy of my passport and a signed explanation of the nature of my business with btc2ripple. After preparing and having sent these documents I received without further explanation a very short answer that my account will be closed. At further request for more info on this decision they only replied "According to our Terms of Service we can limit your account as we deem necessary. Unfortunately we do not elaborate details on the company decisions". I wonder if anyone else has had this same experience

@heartbit_io : What happened to this application? Is any of the code available as open source?

I'm looking for a tool out there that can display RippleCharts like plots, with and overlay of SMAs and EMAs. The fact that I cannot find them out there, makes me wonder if the Ripple markets move without considering key crossing points of these moving averages, like is well know to happen in more liquid market places.

If one random semi-whale can move price +-10% in either direction with one transaction, then all moving averages become pointless.

Poliniex has some indicators, but doesn't always follow entire ripple market, so you may actually be able to see some technical movements there, more so than you would on ripple charts, where like @T8493 mentioned has whales that consistently push the gateway market around at will...

That's a good time to not use moving averages. Almost all traditional trading software includes these indicators over the price charts. I speculate that it's a missing dimension from the Ripple markets though, because the moving averages cannot easily be seen on RippleCharts

We can debate the effectiveness all day. Let's rather focus on the question. Does anyone know of a moving average overlay tool out there for Ripple market data? In general, any tool out there that does technical analysis over Ripple markets would be of interest to me.

TradingView.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=POLONIEX%3AXRPBTC

But they use data from exchanges (and not RCL AFAIK).

Or import raw CSV data into Excel and calculate anything you want directly in Excel...
