Your best picks for next 3 months

Recommended Posts

Just been sitting around thinking and would like to gauge other peoples opinions on the biggest gainers for next 3 months each person takes 3 picks with a quick reason why they think so can post a price you think it will get to if you wish as well can include any coin besides xrp.

My picks would have to be

1: KMD by far my top pick. a underrated coin with security and privacy that out does all the major privacy coins leading in atomic swaps and own network about to deploy the first decentralised ico could see massive growth.

2: WTC just has a really solid use case and could see adoption for it being picked up very quickly by many large businesses.

3: SIA sia for me is a hard one i really think the potential is there to go massive at any time and i think cloud storage is a massive growth area but they need to get some deals done soon or could be a dud so while i think gains could be huge it could also just collapse.

what do people think

bitcoin cash has a lot of potential, but also quite a bit downside, more so than your average crypto imho. why do you list wtc and not mod, if i may ask?

I like mod as well missed the last run on it recently but has great potential to

Agreed bitcoin cash has allot of potential. I think we will see a major crash before it reaches decent returns. I am waiting to buy in after Coinbase releases all customer holdings for BCH and we get a chance to see what impact that has on the market. How people react when they get free 1000-1400 for every bitcoin is hard to predict, I anticipate a dip around this time and a potential buying opportunity.

Short term win (GVT): **** coin, **** high profile advisors, very low coin circulation. It will be pumped and it will be dumped, get in get out before holding the bag. ****Play Over

3-6 months: Kyber Network (KNC) - Fantastic team, announcing great partnerships, decentralised exchange which IMO provides better prospects for returns then "applications".

XRP: I wont elaborate on this one, 2017 has laid the foundations and partnerships to start next year strong.

ETC 3 Months + : Next year when allot of the projects that have been devolved on ethereum go live, gas price/fees and network capacity will still be low/slow for apps that require low fees and high transaction output. We are currently hitting half the maximum daily transactions and I believe this will only grow.

Solutions are more than 1 year away and ETC has the added benefit of cherry picking what works well. Most of the applications should easily be replicated on ETC.

To be honest, I find it very difficult to say what coins will go up by there own merit (besides XRP). I think all are very susceptible to mostly unexpected news and tailwind of the general altcoin market increase.

But to atleast give you something, I have been following a project since 2013 that now bears the name RADIX (had other project names in the past). It will officially launch next year and I will definately tap in to that. You can check it out at www.radix.global

Hot ones in my list at the moment are:

2GIVE 86% increase

SiaCoin 22% increase

THC 60% increase

All looking to give bigger and better gains in the future and small buys at the moment

Can you tell me some news on SIA? I looked at it but the community seemed really really quiet and it made me wonder if it was a dying project.

I'm looking at Electroneum at the moment (ETN). Storj also looks too quiet to me, but in that realm, RLC.

@RegalChicken It is up 50% since your post hopefully you brought :)

Very interesting to read this topic in retrospect, all suggestions have significantly outperformed the returns on XRP (We should keep up with the thoughts of the crowd).

Much to my disappointment I have recently started to diversify away from XRP, I still believe in its long term opportunities for growth and it will hold the largest portion of my portfolio, but at the end of the day I invest to make returns and there are better returns elsewhere.

I guess it is easy to look like a genius in a bull market!

I picked up a very very small of ETN.

I'll probably get more, but I'm torn because

a. its only available through one exchange at the moment. this would lead me to believe the price could skyrocket when more exchanges grab it

b. I'm unsure of how many coins have yet to be released still from the ICO. this could cause the price to plummet. I am unsure of what the existing circulation is going to be next month.  if it's low, then price will be good. if it's high, the price could tank.

KMD showing massive signs of accumulation keeps drifting down on small amounts and then someone buying 100 to 150 BTC worth at lows when people panic sell DICO and new barterdex look to be this week JAN will be its time to shine but alot of guys saying will be $150 next year so its my main hold after Ripple.

Its ICO setup is different to ethers.

ICOS run under its banner get the security and setup from the blockchain through kmd and Delayed proof of work but are on there own blockchain for no bloat they have offered to take crypto kittys off ether hopefully they get that to show what can do.

Also there atomic swaps are now 100% faster than any other coin and there privacy and security beats monero zcash and all the other main privacy coins.

Downside with them is although there dev is regarded as one of the best in the industry he is working on a million things at once and a lot of times switches between jobs before finishing and they have a severe lack of marketing or any brand recognition right now

my picks are

1) Coss. I have been hodling this for some time now (relatively speaking), awaiting positive change. Seems like it is gonna start deliver on expectations now. Marketcap has approximately doubled so far in december, volume of coss coinis growing nicely, other coins on the exchange also start becoming more liquid, new UI coming at the end of month, also check out google trends, there is a recent spike in interest. I am considering buying more

2) Modum (MOD). Could shoot up from positive news Q1 2018, but since dividends are further away in time, it could also be that price wont go up until closer to dividends. But sound business idea IMHO + low marketcap makes for a safe hodl in my eyes.

3) After having read up on KNC after reading your comments about it, it seems it has great potential. I have to consider selling XRP for KNC now, for short term gains.

As for e.g. SIA, how can the marketcap be as high as it is, with so many competitors. Too risky for me, although great idea.
