PaulKim
I ordered a nano s, waiting for it to arrive. In the interim I just set up a toast wallet and it works, I tried with the recommended 21 XRP So now I am trying to decide if I should transfer the remainder of my zerps to the wallet and hold it there until my nano s arrives. Is it easy to transfer between wallet to nano s? Sorry I'm new to wallets, just been leaving on exchanges but want to get out of that bad habit. M-X
Yep, you just have to send to the address the nano gives you (click the receive button on the top left once you've opened the ripple wallet on your computer to find it). No destination tag is needed, but send a few xrp first to make sure it's arriving at the nano.

Void-Induction
Yeah I hear you, I always felt safe with Kraken, as much as you can actually feel safe in an exchange. How long until it ships? Edited November 18, 2017 by Void-Induction
XRPledger
Just ordered my ledger nano s for the same reason. 2 days on amazon.
cuber
Hi @MoneyShot, congrats on buying your Nano S. Hopefully you made the purchase direct from Amazon and not through Marketplace? I've had a bad feeling about MP for a while now as i think that Amazon has become a place for untrustworthy traders. You may want to check out the Ledger website as they have some good tutorials on there with regards to setup of your Nano etc. There's also an article on security however the disclaimer is that if you open the unit then the warranty becomes invalid. Worth a read though https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005321449-How-to-verify-the-security-integrity-of-my-Nano-S- Other general info can be found here https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/115000813065-USER-GUIDE Good luck with the setup ? Thank you Cuber... the Nano S purchased on Amazon was the "Amazon's Choice"; however, there are a few one star reviews claiming the product was not actually new (4 out of 5 stars overall). Here is the link, please let me know if you feel this seller is legit, otherwise I will return and look elsewhere. Much appreciated.

I would never purchase a used one due to the unknowing element of the previous owner. I do not actually own a Nano but have been thinking about it seriously hence the reason why i've done some research. If you have a look at this blog post video it explains a feature called attestation to verify that the Nano is authentic and has no rogue firmware. You can scroll down to view the video on this site https://www.ledger.fr/2015/03/27/how-to-protect-hardware-wallets-against-tampering/. I still have to carry out some research for myself so i guess we can all learn together . I couldn't see where you posted the link but i think that the seller will have a feedback rating? Your other option is to cancel your Amazon order and purchase direct from the Ledger website however i'm unsure of the lead times for delivery there.
