They say Bitcoin Civil war will result positive for altcoins. Will it be negative for Bitcoin it self?

We know that investors are rotating massive amounts of market cap to Bitcoin Cash (BCH), but why are they doing that?

There are more than one reason for this and it just might be temporary. Bitcoin sure has delay issues and high transaction fees, but very many coins are better at these aspects. Does it make it more Bitcoin if we just ride with the brand? What is the "original Bitcoin"? Is it what we now call 'Bitcoin'? Is it Bitcoin Cash? Is the original Bitcoin already dead since the chain was forked and both versions changed?

Maybe the "Bitcoins" will live side by side, maybe there will be "one Bitcoin to rule them all". Maybe the whole Bitcoin brand will be a thing in the history.

There can only be one Bitcoin because nobody is legally bound to calling “the real” Bitcoin, Bitcoin. There’s too much at stake to let an imposter hang around. One of the chains needs to die.

If one of the chains has to die, most likely is surely Bitcoin Cash. It's like the smaller, younger offshoot and so by more normal market conditions, the most vulnerable.
