galgitron
What concerns me about this concept, particularly parlayed in the context of 'removed from circulation', is that conceivably a majority of 'idle' coins could be placed in escrow. For example, perhaps an exchange will keep 80% of it's user's XRP in very short-term escrow (24 hours?), diluting the effectiveness of their being classified as 'out of circulation' since really, they're not, in the availability sense. In other words, scarcity isn't really being achieved with short-term escrow, but the broad category of 'out-of-circulation' could falsely indicate more scarcity than is realistic for determining value. Yes, I'm being pedantic. Yes, I'll find a way to program my bot to work with this.
