MBi
CME group, the world's leading exchange for options and futures trading, will begin trading Bitcoin futures later this quarter by way of a cash-settled contracts based on its CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate (BRR). CME works with Crypto Facilities, to publish the BRR as well as a Real Time Index (BRTI). Ripple announced in February 2016 they were working with Crypto Facilities to create a marketplace for XRP derivatives. A CME published XRP index and futures trading could be in the not too distant future. https://www.forbes.com/sites/antoinegara/2017/10/31/move-over-pork-bellies-exchange-giant-cme-group-to-begin-trading-bitcoin-futures#4ff219ff779a Edited October 31, 2017 by MBi Baboly, Let_her_Ripple, Hodor and 5 others 7

Maybe there is just not much demand. Can we expect FI money arriving in 2018 to continue ignoring XRP in a similar manner, even though the means to trade it are available? I think it should be followed by eth and xrp soon. Because once they make rules for one crypto the same should be applicable for others too. May be within few months after btc launch. Next few months seem exciting bcz Sbi should list xrp around then as well so it will ve a huge add up in xrp customer base.
