Hey, Bitstamp was one of the first Ripple gateways so there should be no problem if you are from the US. You may transfer your funds via international wire transfer or make a credit card deposit. Should you require any assistance, feel free to contact us.

Are credit card deposits working for US customers? Still says this feature is not active on my account.

Hey, it should work. Do you have two-factor authentication enabled? It is required to have if placing credit card purchase. However, we strongly advise having it enabled in any case. If that is not the issue, please send me your user ID and we shall look into the matter.

I'll log in again and check today. If it's still not active I'll let you know. Curious, why has bitstamp allocated a support person to XRPchat all of a sudden?

I made XRP transfer from Bitfinex to Bittrex almost a day ago. Everything seemed normal. I copied the address and the tag, about 20 minutes later Bitfinex told the transaction is completed but I can not see any XRP at my Bittrex wallet. When I click the link TXID it writes transaction not found. I opened tickets to both exchanges but haven’t heard anything yet. Did anyone have similiar problem?

XRP wallets in Bittrex require a TAG along with the wallet ID. IF you didnt include the TAG then it just goes into the pool. The TAG represents your unique ID.

I provided the TAG but seems like it didn't work. I don't know what to do, just waiting replies from exchanges. It was about 40k zerps:(

Bittrex wallet is on maintenance which means they stop all incoming and outgoing wallet transactions. QUite possible your XRP is sitting on a long list of deposits. They normally do this when a crazy influx of buyers/sellers hit a coin. I had a transaction for withdraw "authorized" and never left the wallet until 12 hours later. My guess is wait it out after a few hours of the wallet being back online you should see your funds.

Did you search for the transaction on www.xrpcharts.com or bithomp.com?

To get XRP directly, I  primarily use Kraken and occasionally Poloniex, but also have used itBit and Gemini to buy BTC or ETH when I want to trade (they don't have XRP).  Experiences with Kraken are consistently smooth, IMO.

Hey, just wanted to ask a few questions; how is Gemini for purchases of ETH, are their fees low and can you use GBP? (I am EU)

Gemini has been really good for quick transactions, but there are a few catches.  Getting validated took me some time (weeks, as I recall) and that was before the current "gold rush"....also, they will allow you to make a direct ACH deposit, but then you cannot transfer any crypto currencies out of that exchange until another 5-business day waiting period.  I haven't used Gemini in awhile, but I recall the fees were pretty reasonable.  Here's more info about their fees:

https://gemini.com/fee-schedule/

However, AFAIK, they only trade in USD and BTC or ETH.

There are probably better exchanges for what you want, but you will probably have to wait a while to get validated anywhere.  Good luck, dude.
