Bitcoins Stuck in Gatehub

hello

I'm very new to cryptocurrency and i just wanted to start investing because it seemed interesting.

The first mistake that i have done is that i transferred  few bitcoins to gatehub's hosted wallet hoping that i could later exchange them for ripples. My main intention was to buy new ripples and watch if they could really grow into something big. But I'm unable to transfer as i got the error " Wallet not on vault" when i tried to transfer btc from hosted wallet to ripple wallet.

I have two questions.

Is this because my account is not verified and thus i dont have btc gateway to my ripple wallet and thus i cannot deposit btc directly into it for xrp ?

or else is it just that my ripple wallet is not funded with "20" xrp and thus its not activated ?  Will i be able to transfer my btc in hosted wallet to my ripple wallet after i get activated  ?

If its all about non-activated account I would be very thankful if someone helped me out by activating my ripple wallet . Please help me through to get my bitcoins out of it as they are charging way too high for btc transfers to other wallet. If you could send me 25 xrp to my wallet, please message me their ripple address . ill refund them with 35 xrp. you can report me if I dont do so.

sorry for the long post . and here is my ripple address.  rU1o7gnGTQbYULk6USEcgArP6ygtMMd3Bx Ram Abhilash

thanks in advance,

ram

1. Activate your act

2. Verify

If you don't want to do this process with them open an act with bitstamp or bittrex and transfer your coins to them. Then follow 1 and 2 before you can withdraw. Its worth it to grab your coins and hold them yourself.

You need to verify with the exchanges before they will allow you to withdraw . Also you need to activate your ripple wallet. Then it should work. Its all a little bit of a process but well worth it. Its not smart to keep large amounts or store for long term on an exchange.

1. Login to your wallet,  Copy your Ripple wallet address at top right make sure you have full address just click it it will auto copy

2. Depending on the exchange enter the required fields that apply should be under withdraw

3. Try a small amount first as a test since you are learning maybe transfer like 50 XRP

4. Don't send BTC to your ripple wallet ONLY send XRP Ripple as you will lose your BTC possibly

I'm guessing you are telling me to do on gatehub. I did try doing but i get the error "wallet not found in vault". I have all the money I wished to invest in hosted wallet. so need to wait for a long time to freshly deposit xrp to ripple wallet using coinswich or some other exchange provider.

you should be able to use a hot wallet on your computer and I believe transfer to your wallet. I hope someone else that uses that exchange can help you on this subject I use Bitstamp and Bittrex.

I don't know why you would get that kind of error.

I sent over $70 worth of bitcoin from Coinbase to Gatehub (2.27 fee). Then transferred the stupid 20xrp using bithomp to active my wallet. The fee on bithomp to activate my stupid wallet was more than what I needed to actually open up my wallet. The minimum was .002 but the fee was .003 so a total of .005 and now I lost $35 just opening the damn account. WTF. Gatehub needs to be held responsible here for advising me to use such a high charging transfer because their site isn't easy to navigate for someone trying to learn!
