Day 1...price goes down. Me...I moved my money to XLM last night, made 190% profit

Recommended Posts

So last night I traded all of my Ripple for Stellar Lumens (XLM).  I made 190% profit and then sold a nice chunk of it and bought back more XRP than I had before while still keeping about 50k XLM's.  It was a good night.  Now I will HODL and sit and wait for slow and steady price appreciation while keeping USDT available for any opportunities like the one that I experienced last night in any low priced penny crypto with a good news release and some momentum.  All I can say is HODL the investments you believe in, have liquidity to be able to grab opportunity by the horns, and learn how to sell and take your profits.

What made you move your money to XLM, did you know a spike was about to happen? I wish I knew how to trade like this

@Johnxrp No I had no idea....what I have is news alerts that constantly keep me updated of any big news in the crypto space.  I get them on my phone with the BTC News app, and on my computer from coindesk.  Once I saw the huge IBM partnership with Stellar Lumens news flash I immediately went over to WorldCoinIndex.com where I saw that XLM had risen by 25% about 30 minutes after the news broke.  I decided that this news was more significant than just a 25% jump for a penny cryptocurrency and I immediately sold all of my Ripple on Bittrex for BTC and then traded that BTC for the Stellar Lumens.  While Ripple did make a nice 7% gain through the night which I did not partake in, my 190% return on XLM more than made up for that.  When I thought it was time to sell and take my profits I did, and I immediately bought back more Ripple than I started off with and I kept about 47k XLM coins.  So there you have it.  It's not rocket science and you can really make money if you stay on top of the news and know how to interpret what you are reading and how the market is digesting the news.  Easy as pie.  Happy profits!

yerr nahh, i lost 6 xrp...lol...

Dumped my bittrex xrp's when xlm's got to 136% rise & bought with 33% of what i had at 146% rise, then 20%, then 20% then 20% on the way up to 236%...Then the bloomin' phone rang, (son), talked too long, missed the first dump, missed the second dump, then the bloomin' phone rang again (brother) and dumped the lot at the 145% rise point...

end result, lost 6 XRP .. moral of the story, when your on it, let the phone ring! :focus:

Why is there a thread on XLM in here?

This forum is literally called, "XRP Trading".

? yeah, well ..... notice how often people either want to show off on these kind of forums, or want to show how chicken ? they are. Funny place. Thankfully, there are contributers with real and original thoughts, too,  that are informative or challenging to the mind.
