Look at what happened to stellar lumens and the IBM announcement. Then they didn't understand what a conference actually is. Its not about having news threwn out at each panel, its about educating the attendance to your products and environment and logically a lot of networking. And especially they got huge news today with the Gates Foundation even, but expect directly at first panel that "XRP is live at xx banks?". I mean thats so short-sighted. We should be realistic and just enjoy the different panels and educate ourselves more and if some nice gem in between regarding ripple or even XRP comes along nice . But seems impatience is nowadays everywhere. koryann, will4star, Sltcdavid and 3 others 5

Crypto investors, who may or may not like xrp, have most likely come in from bitcoin or the Alts on the news of this conference, and if they don't like what they hear, then they will put their money into something else. Let_her_Ripple
Did anyone else get the feeling Airbnb are/will be on board with xRapid or some custom variant? It seemed to me like Kapil was somewhat the centre of attention and the most informed about Ripple..

So I wouldn't be surprised if they run internally pilots with RippleNet to test out if this would work out for them. From the usecase it definitely would fit I think, so its just about implementation and that depends how AirBnB is currently structured under the hood infrastructure wise. But I definitely would like to have him again on the stage to hear more from him. Mpolnet and Let_her_Ripple

I felt he seemed sorta in the dark on blockchain in general or at least a newbie to the technology considering he could not answer the very simple question of whom do you find to be ground breaking or motivational in the realm of this new tech. I mean I'm not an expert by any means but I can think of 5 or 6 people off the top of my head whom I think are focused, legit, and leading the future. Let_her_Ripple
Yeah, perhaps as "Global Director Payments Programs and Partnerships" he might have displayed stronger knowledge in that area, but I read it as being coy, not ignorant.
RegalChicken
Hey if you're right, that's great. You very well may be, especially if he's not supposed to let certain cats out of said bags. Let_her_Ripple

Kloppos
Oh quite interesting is that SIam Bank and SBI were very closely working with Thailand Central Bank regarding the panel. They are live since July 1, so are live since 3 months as he said they are very happy about how it went so far. Thai Central Bank seems really contributed into this payment solution in terms of regulatory topics, so thats really good to know that all is approved from the highest place there. Also he said that they are want to scale up this now which sounded for me like Ripple SOlution could be also for whole Thai market and not just the Thai-Japan closed corridor.
