panmores
A Ripple-Swift partnership seems highly unlikely, yet pre-Swell facts: Tim Berners-Lee speaks at both Swell and Sibos Brad Garlinghouse, who usually minces no words, is not confrontational about Swift or Sibos Sibos even allows Ripple to have a booth at its Toronto event (at a recent Sibos event Ripple was uninvited) Marcus Treacher was a former Swift board member And then of course Ripple poached Marjan Delatinne who had been business director at Swift’s new GPI program… Edited October 14, 2017 by panmores
hirorajni
ripple -xrp can have very good relations with swift- there is no need to be confrontational - if all the big banks supporting swift come onto the ripple bandwagon that will be great- in fact xrp can have good relations with bit- coin too -why compete - when xrp- bitcoin can rule the crypto-currency world worth trillions of dollars soon- this is a huge ocean- co-operate and flourish- that should be the success mantra
Duke67
If decision makers at SWIFT are smart enough, they will find a way how to make this partnership happen, because there really is not much left for them in future. Maybe all they would like to do now is to offer Wim Raymaekers a golden parachute, so then SWIFT can abandon foolish dreams about their own blockchain and focus on how to adapt Ripple technology. The Knight of Ahhrrgg
Also, I find it to be funny reading this Tuesday's agenda for SWELL: TUESDAY, 10/17 2:00 Up Close and Personal With, Um, the Competition So either Ripple does not take their competition seriously (I don't really buy that), or "the competion" might not be competing after all, but actually cooperating in some sort of way? "Um"..... ?
