Bitstamp and other exchanges customer support

If the crypto world wants to be taken seriously something needs to be done about customer support. In this day and age we shouldn't have to be waiting 3/4 days to receive feedback via a ticket. Blockchain technology is speeding up the way things are done. Why must these exchanges have shady customer service qualities that give you an uneasy feeling and a telephone number in Bitstamp case that is permanently disconnected

I find its incredibly frustrating.Maybe its just me

Hi both, please excuse the delay in response. Due to the high demand, sometimes it takes us longer than usual to get back to you. However, you may send me your ticket/user number and we shall look into it asap.

Members  claiming to be acting on behalf of gateways/ services (ie. support) have to pass increasing levels of verification with forum moderators. Only once they have passed do they get the 'Gateway' or similar badge applied under their user profile picture. There is also procedures in place for those claiming to be press/ researcher/ institution/ etc- essentially anyone who is not here on their own behalf, but that of a third party that might have influence on the community and/or ask for private information (ie. ask you to message them more info about a technical issue your having with their platform).

Please note this is not an endorsement from the Forum for a specific gateway or service, just an acknowledgement that they can act/ speak on that gateway/ services behalf. Members, as always, are cautioned about revealing or giving away too much personal information and to take general online safety measures.

IF YOU DOUBT SOMEONES CLAIMS FOR WHATEVER REASON CONTACT A MODERATOR- we will look into it, the communities safety is our first priority.
