Articles are getting better ... but still confusion it seems between Ripple and XRP.

This should read: "The overall market cap of XRP is still close to $10 billion"

Keep up the great work.

If you are an investor of XRP you would need to keep close tabs on the case as if R3 is successful in making a strong case, they could get their hands on a XRP tokens and that can bring the price down for a while at least as 5 billion new coins aren’t what the doctor ordered for Ripple. It is certainly a unique case but the price slump is guaranteed if the R3 have their way.

Except that would R3 win the case and buy 5B of XRP, they could not sell them instantly. In fact, they would take like 80 years to be able to sell them all.

Miguel Vias, Ripple’s Head of XRP markets, was quick to point out that even in the original contract, R3 would not have been able to flood the market with cheap XRP:

“Important to note: R3’s agreement was subject to sales restrictions of 50bps of daily volume on the XRP Ledger.”

I like this quote...

Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple. “Now more than 100 financial institutions are looking to Ripple as the solution to the problem. Updating their payments infrastructure with Ripple has become the equivalent of a retailer choosing to build an e-commerce business in the year 2000 — it’s a no brainer.”
