tommytrain
I had not considered that Ripple-like pathfinding would be included in ILP for some reason.

I did because for some reason it stood out to me when it was mentioned that you will always be able to see the path in full before executing. It made me wonder if you could get "in trouble" for using ledgers/connectors in the path that weren't clearly KYC/AML compliant (and how will we know if they are?). I believe that, because validators' groups can be of any type, you would be able choose the level of compliance you wanna use. Probably ledger administrators will be the ones that choose which groups can work with their ledgers, meaning that mostly banks will be picking them up. I used to be laughed out of the room when I suggested Ripple's core business model could develop around pathfinding algorithms (search), like a kind of Google for frictionless value transfer through and across regulatory/trust networks. I believe nullc got laughed off reddit for saying such things about a week ago.

It was long time ago I was thinking of a service for Pathfinding on Ripple: https://forum.ripple.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8525&hilit=path KarmaCoverage
