  1. Everyone should give this Federal Reserve press release a really good read. Although not mentioning Ripple or XRP, this speaks volumes with the shake-up of Swell and what Ripple is providing. I mean come on, it almost seems like the deck is stacked for Ripple and XRP and the infrastructure is being aligned for central banks. I’d love to hear feedback. https://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevents/speech/brainard20181003a.htm
  2. The glow of the server touchscreen emanated like a beacon in the dusk amidst the chaos. Artillery pounded the walls of the city sky rise, shaking the building and sending debris on and around the huddled group. In the middle of the cadre was the large rectangular box. Another series of shells pounded the structure, as red hot concrete catapulted into the back of one of the soldiers. "Man down, man down!" a woman in the group yelled The commanding officer took only a brief second to survey the situation, before barking out orders. "McKaylick! Get him over by the door, and get back here!” "But Commander! His wounds!" she rebutted "Follow orders, soldier! It's his wounds or this server. If this dies, we're as dead as he is!" The Commander was tall and broad. His face was stoic in the moment, and his unwavering sense of duty gave her courage, as she fought back tears and insecurity. "Sir, yes sir!" she affirmed. “Everyone get closer! Protect this technician!” Commander Percy ordered. As the technician’s fingers flew over the touchscreen, the Commander’s orders rang in his mind louder than blasts from the artillery. “Let’s go, Jonesie! We’re running out of time! Secure this rig! Let’s go!” Percy barked. “Wait for it! Wait for it!” he chimed. His fingers seemed to glide hummingbird’s wings over the touch screen, and moments later, the ding’s and pings of a completed program sounded from the master server. “Go! Go! Go!” Jonesie shouted at the top of his lungs. Commander Navarro raised up to order the move when an artillery shell made its way through one of the blown out window and slammed into the wall behind them. All he could be hear was the sound of muffled silence. Moments later, heartbeats and breathing, followed by an intense ringing, before the unfettered chaos re-emerged violently. “McKaylick! Jonesie! Navarro! On the Server! The extraction zone is on the backside of the building! Don’t stop! No matter what!” he said with urgency. There was one remaining soldier, and the Commander shouted to him as he ran to a large machine by the window. “O’Leary! O’Leary!” Commander Percy shouted. The Private slid in beside his commander and awaited orders. “Aye Commander?!” “I need you on the laser! I’ll call your strike from the spotter!” “Yes sir” O’Leary responded courageously. “Make it count, Private!” “Yes, Sir!” he said as he stared down the scope of the weapon. Commander Percy zeroed in on the central command location of the enemy with supreme focus. “C’mon, c’mon!” he whispered as the pattern of beeps tightened. Outside, General Savas and his men continued the onslaught of artillery, when a bright glow from the window appeared and intensified rapidly. He knew what it was, and he had only a moment to call off his men before the shot was fired. “Move out! Move out!” he shouted reflexively as he exited his position for cover. The laser beam connected with its target and shot a pulse heat and energy into an artillery vehicle nearby, causing a chain of explosions that sent everyone flying to the ground. When the General made it back to his feet, his rage surged through his heart and into head. “Get the cannon!” he barked with a gravelly, callused tone. Moments later a mammoth cannon rolled in from the background and set down in the direct path of the building. “Gentleman. Bomb’s away.” The blast was followed by an earthquake of percussion, as the thick skyscraper was torn in two, leaving nothing but a stump of burning floors. A beep from a commlink sounded in the silence following the blast, “Mr. President. We got ‘em.” ** “Is the scan complete?” Navarro questioned anxiously. “Yeah, we’re all clear.” Richardson responded. “Good. If anyone from The State hears this, we’re dead. As you know, the State is hunting Master Nodes.” The junior advisor nodded his head and chimed in with confidence “Mhm, mhm. The State is moving on remaining crypto assets.” “It’s not just that.” Navarro butted in. “At first it was some Order 66 stuff. But you could kill every master node on the planet, and if that master server is still around, the ledger, the protocols…the Ripple is still there.” “I can’t believe this is happening…” Richardson exclaimed. “You can’t believe this is happening because you don’t understand Bitcoin? Or you were asleep for 20 years?” Navarro reacted with confusion on his face. “I understand cryptography plenty well” Richardson responded, “I’m-“ “I know what you’re going to say.” Navarro cut in,”Who controls the energy? Who controls the resources needed to make the mining equipment? It was only a matter of time.” The train began to let up on its speed, as the Captain’s voice pinged over the cabin intercom. “Gentleman, we are approaching D.C., we should be pulling in shortly.” “What’s our move, then? We have to have something.” Richardson asked with some doubt. Navarro shuffled through some files on the screen of his tablet. His face became very serious and focused as he searched for the necessary documents. As he spun the tablet, he held out to Richardson. He gave Richardson a moment to browse the content before he began talking. “As far as the State is concerned, XRP is a commerce coin.” Navarro said. “A payment settlement device, right.” Richardson responded. “Correct. They think all we have is a cheap grocery store token-“ “…but we have a weapon” Richardson said with wonderment. “But we have a weapon. A weapon to bring back freedom. A weapon to bring back true block chain.” Navarro confirmed. Richardson continued to stare down at the tablet in his hands “Just like Satoshi wanted” he said with a distant look. The captain’s voice once again blurted over the speakers of the cabin. “We are now pulling into D.C. station, gentleman. Please return to your seats.” “Okay,” the senior advisor said “When we get in there, let me do the talking. Stay low key. No time for heroism.” ** He stood in the window of the historic office. The large figure had one shoulder draped with curtain, as he glanced out over the vast property of the White House. His face was stern and frozen, his eyes seemed distant and disconnected from the moment. As the men sat quietly waiting for the meeting to begin, Richardson began to squirm in his seat, which was quickly halted by the grip of Navarro, and a look of warning. “Do you boys know what they ‘Ark of the Covenant’ is?” the President asked. The men were puzzled by the question and caught off guard by his approach to the beginning of the meeting. They both shifted in their seats, looking at one another nervously for the answer or how to answer. “The Ark of the Covenant, sir?” Navarro finally responded. “Yes. The Ark of the Covenant. It was a vessel the Children of Israel took with them after their encounter with God at Mt Sinai. It was a sacred instrument in their quests as a people.” He turned from the window and walked to his drinking cabinet, taking a long swig of bourbon, before casually tossing the heavy, decorative cup on the cabinet’s metal tray. “Things haven’t really changed since then. Only now, we have a cult whose god is technology, and instead of stone box filled with relics, we have a titanium one filled with circuit boards.” The President sat down in his chair at the old, infamous desk and leaned forward onto his elbows. “Boys, XRP is centralized. When something is centralized…it means you have a single source of power. Instead of killing master nodes…we’re killing their power. And their god.” He said with focus. “Sir. I don’t understand what this has to do with us…” Navarro wondered aloud. “You know Cryptography. And…you know how to hunt these people.” The President responded, “Everything is running on our StateCoin, gentleman. But we got lucky with Bitcoin. I prefer to create the odds, rather than be their servant.” The alarm bells were going inside each of the two advisors. They were deeper than they ever thought they would be and were getting a look into the demise of their freedoms, and the safety of all those around them. “Then what is our next move, Mr. President?” Navarro implored. The President leaned back in his chair and pressed his fingers against his mouth, as he decided how much he wanted to say. “We were able to capture an asset. One of their master node holders. Instead of killing him, we decided to utilize some…less-than-traditional methods to use him for our benefit.” The senior advisor had known that one of his own had been captured, but he had assumed that if the asset was not able to escape, he would be dead. “Let me guess, you guys brought back ‘MK Ultra’, or something.” He said jokingly, as he laughed with Richardson. His tenor quickly changed as the silent president did not object, and only gazed at him in response. “Our next move, gentleman, is critical. We know they are securing a more permanent resting place for the Master Server. If they get all the nodes they need functioning, we lose. If they are able to secure the anonymity of the server, we lose! I. Will. Not. Lose!” The President lowered his intensity and sat back down in his chair, gathering himself for the remainder of the meeting. “Having said that, we were also able to intercept a message, thanks to your new…recruit. We’ll be moving a team out tomorrow to intercept the ‘Ark’. You’ll be coordinating with General Savas. The rest is on your shoulders.” “Why not just scramble some jets?” Richardson chimed in. “Why do you think you came here on a train? He said condescendingly. “As easy as it was to get the Bitcoin block chain, building an application for fast, dangerous flying machines is apparently a whole other ball’a wax. We have a few prototypes that run on it. I prefer not to lean on last resorts…except in last resorts.” The two looked at each other, in awe of the information they had just stumbled into. “Any other questions?” the President asked with an air of finality. ** The morning in the outskirts of the city seemed uneventful; a typical early, sunny day. A large man sat in the driver’s side of the supped-up utility van. His eyes scanned the foreground, as he cautiously raised the radio to his mouth. *Beep* “Wilcox. This is Brady. Please identify your position. Over.*Beep* After a prolonged silence Brady’s worry began to climb, “Wilcox. This is Brady. Identify your position. Over!” *Beep* “Breaker, breaker, this is ‘Love Machine. Do you copy?” *BEEP* the voice on the other finally responded jokingly. Wilcox was situated with an outlook team miles away. They were both a decoy, and a rendezvous, for Brady’s transport. “Yeah, you’re a comedian. Very funny. Enough with the jokes.” Brady snapped back annoyed. “C’mon now, Brady. All in good fun. We’re at the corner of-“ Wilcox’s response was cut off by the sound of explosions and twisting metal. “Agggghhhhh! Agggggghhh! Braaddddy!” Wilcox screamed in agony. “Wilcox! Wilcox!” Brady shouted back. There was a moment of delay that was interrupted by an oddly calm voice. *BEEP* “Mr. Brady…” *BEEP* “Who is this?!” Brady questioned with concern “You don’t remember your old pal ‘Jonesie’?” the creepy voice implored. “Jonesie?! You escaped?! How’d you-?!” “No, Brady. I didn’t escape.” “Wait, wha-?” Brady asked, as his confusion mounted. “You know…you give everything for a cause. You fight, you struggle…you really believe you can win. And then one day, after the torture and the loneliness…you finally realize that you just have to give up…and everything will be alright. That it’s just easier to turn.” Jonesie declared. “What are you talkin’ about, Jonesie? Where’s Wilcox?! What’s going on?!” Brady continued. “Everything’s going to be okay, Brady. Wilcox was compromised. He had to be dealt with. All enemies of the State must be dealt with…” Wilcox gritted his teeth as the anger welled up inside, and the tears began to form around the corners of his eyes. With deep breaths he collected himself, focusing again on his objectives. “It’s not too late for you, Brady. Just lay down your arms and your vehicle, and the State will go easy on you.” “Hey, Jonesie…” “Yes, Brady?” Jonesie replied with his overly-calm voice. “I’m gonna do terrible things to you. You’re gonna pay for this. You’re gonna wish they had killed you.” He said in a low, determined voice. “That was the wrong answer, Brady.” He said with faux courtesy. “I’ll show you wrong answer, you son of a-“ Jonesie cut the radio off, before Brady could finish the sentence. As he stood amidst the carnage, he surveyed his handy work for a moment, before returning to his vehicle to continue the pursuit. Less than a mile from the smoldering wreckage, Navarro’s gear shifting was punchy and determined, as he weaved through lanes of scattered drivers. Each street sign seemed to blur by faster and faster as the minutes wore on. He felt his blood pressure rise as the location came into view. “C’mon, c’mon! Let’s go, let’s go! He whispered to himself. Without hesitation his eyes locked onto the man stepping into his car. He had one, maybe two shots. The burning wreckage had no doubt caused a scene, and soon there would be police and ambulances swarming the area. As he entered the blast zone, his car skidded to a halt. Popping up over the open driver’s side door, he propped his outstretched arms on the frame and steadied. POP! POP! In less than the time it took for him to breathe again, the two bullets had crashed into the windshield of Jonesie’s 2021 Maserati Gibli. As he raised the gun again, Jonesie hit the gas pedal. The force of the sudden acceleration sent the car into a fish tale, turning Jonesie into a moving target. After a few moments of futile attempts at aiming, Navarro dropped back into the seat of his 1973 De Tomaso Pantera before it was too late to give chase. *BEEP* Brady! Come in, Brady! *BEEP* “Here Commander!” Brady rang out. “I have contact with the target, he is on his way to you. Time to move…now!” Navarro stated with urgency As Brady began entering the coordinates of the route, the Commander’s voice blasted over the intercom. “Brady! Change of plans! Scrap the route. It won’t work without a scout crew. Do you understand?!” “We can’t fly blind, Commander! You know that!” Brady protested. “Hey! Jonesie knows where you are! He knows the plan! He knows the route! You gotta trust me here! That’s an order!” Navarro barked. Brady could feel the heat rising in his body, he never felt fear on missions. He felt fear, today. He closed his eyes and tried to focus on the objective; today, it wasn’t working. He swallowed hard before responding. “Sir, yes, sir.” He said somberly, “What do we do, Navarro?” “Alright. He’s expecting you to try and get to the interstate. Instead, we’re gonna drive right down the heart of the city.” “But sir, we’ll be like sitting ducks in that traffic.” Brady implored. “Hear me out, soldier. When you get into town, there will be two trucks identical to yours. When you reach Vine St., one will fly straight into the downtown traffic, the other will veer left. You go right and follow it to the highway. Copy?” Navarro asked. “Roger that, Commander.” “Also, have Riggs for some files. I’ll have them sent over the RippleDark.” ‘Roger that. What for, Commander?” Brady asked with “You’ll know when you see it.” Navarro said before cutting off the communication. ** The engine of the 1973 De Tomaso Pantera revved in and out of gears, tearing down the road like a feral jungle cat, as Commander Navarro fought to gain ground on Jonesie. “Alandria”, Navarro said to his on-board computer system “Execute comm-link hack on Car 225” Seconds later, Navarro’s voice boomed throughout the cabin of Jonesie’s getaway car. “Why’d you do it, Jonesie?!” “Commander! So good to hear from you!” he said with a psychotically-happy tone. “Don’t play games! Why’d you do it?! I never pegged you for a traitor!” the Commander snapped back. Jonesie’s demeanor changed as the last sentence cut deep into him. “Why did I turn on my supposed friends? Do you know what it’s like to be at the mercy of a man who is a tactician in the art of torture, ‘Commander’? He rebuked sarcastically, “To be pushed beyond the brink of your mental fortitude and broken?! To sit in the dark, knowing no one is coming to save you?! That death is a release you will not be granted?! I chose life! I chose the winning side of history!” “That was part of the deal, Jonesie! That was part of the deal! You knew the sacrifice you were making! We all did!” Navarro rebutted. “Then it wasn’t worth the price!” “You puppet…” Navarro said with judgment. “I’d rather live and be a puppet for The State, than a hunted vagabond.” Jonesie said as the words seethed from his mouth like burning tar. “Jonesie, you said you wished for death when you were captured. I’m going to give you your wish, today!” Navarro severed the comm-link and accelerated into the last turn, blocks from downtown. As he shifted gears, the engine growled through the rushing sounds of weaving in and out of passing cars. Up ahead, the utility van was nearing the entrance to downtown, as the crew watched out for the decoy fleet. “Where they at, Brady?! I got a bad feeling about this!” the crewmember worried aloud. “Riggs. We’re in the soup. We live for this.” Brady said without taking his eyes off his periphery. The driver of the first decoy pointed ahead of the left side of the street, where the third truck was parked and ready depart. Brady gave a confirming set of hand gestures, and alerted his crew. “Now, we’re in business, boys…aaand girl. Sorry, McKaylick.” Brady chimed. Everyone began scrambling to their stations and initiating their systems. “McKaylick! Initiate the countdown! We need maps online. You’re my navigation system! Riggs, be ready for those files!” “Roger that, boss man! We’re about half a mile out! Standby!” she responded resolutely. In the exuberance of the moment, the convoy had forgotten about their pursuer. A few blocks back, Jonesie spotted the three vans. “Nice try, Navarro. You thought you were clever.” Jonesie chided to himself. *BEEP* “Alfonse, they’ve brought some decoys. Kill them, flush out the real truck. Leave that one to me. *BEEP* The motorcycles exploded out of the adjacent alleyways and began zipping toward the vans. The lead motorcycle pulled out an Uzi and began firing at Brady’s van. The right side-view mirror exploded, startling Brady back into awareness of his surroundings. “McKaylick! I need eyes behind us!” A drone popped up from the van and began scanning the landscape. Before it could finish, it was dispatched by one of the motorcycle riders. “Drone down! It looks like Jonesie has help on bikes. We gotta shake this!” McKaylick screamed. Another burst of fire struck the van, this time puncturing the back door, sending bullets whizzing by the crew and lodging in the front console of the van. With the vans in a full sprint for their lives, Riggs began searching for an alternate route. “Brady! We’re not gonna make it! We need to improvise!” he shouted. “That’s what Jonesie wants! We have to hold to the route! Brady rebutted. “Hey! If we don’t shake these bikes, we won’t live to deal with Jonesie!” Riggs snapped back. The assassins bolted toward the decoys. The middle truck was sprayed thoroughly by submachine gun fire. As the driver slumped over the wheel, the van began to veer left. The second biker slammed a small adhesive explosive on the second van and accelerated away. As the first van collided with the second, the explosive was detonated, sending shockwaves through the air. “What the-?! What was that?! Brady! We gotta go! Now!” Riggs implored. Brady punched the gas and turned a hard right at the upcoming street. The two motorcycle assassins zipped through the oncoming traffic and plunged into the same route. As the van attempted to avoid the pedestrians, cars in their path, McKaylick grabbed the M16 strapped to the inside of the van and stepped to the back. McKaylick attempted to steady herself against the chaotic movements of the van and get off a clean shot. The shots were flying wildly, but the pursuing bikers drove as if she had them dead in her sites. Suddenly, Jonesie exploded onto the scene. The dark Maserati roared forward through the hail of gun fire, until there was nothing left to shoot. Throwing down the rifle, McKaylick slammed the back door shut. Behind them, Jonesie peered forward at the van with an iron gaze. As he inched forward, his mind raced with thoughts of how to disable the vehicle and preserve the server. “What are you doing, Brady? Where could you be going?” he said to himself. Each of the vehicles zoomed past the street sign, only two people noticed where they were headed. Brady was in a moment of desperation, and Jonesie was licking his chops at the opportunity. “In the open. Right where I want you. Bravo, Brady. Bravo.” He celebrated. The van barreled through the light and down the on-ramp with its pursuers in tow. Brady rode the engine hard, as the van zoomed down the freeway. The utility van had been specially outfitted for the mission, but even now, he could feel the powerful engine being tried at its upper limits. “Where. Is. Navarro?!” McKaylick cried in desperation. As if he had heard her voice at that very moment, the midnight blue Pantera raced into the fray, between the two biker assassins. The first biker was plowed by the Pantera, sending him spilling to the highway floor. The second biker dropped behind Navarro and began firing. The bullets bounced off the Pantera, as Navarro ducked slightly to avoid any potential stray bullets. Moments later, barbed, iron rods tumbling out the back of his vehicle and clanging onto the ground. As one caught hold, it spun into the front fork, sending the bike catapulting end-over-end, dispatching the assassin in a heap of neck-breaking impact. With one extra burst of speed Jonesie exploded through the commotion and slammed into the back of the Pantera. Before Navarro had a chance to respond, an incoming message rang out on his commlink. He attempted to read the message as another slam to his fender jolted him in his seat As he mouthed the words in a whisper, he quickly realized it was time. With excitement he jumped on his commlink, once more. “Riggs! Riggs! Come in!” Navarro shouted. Riggs shot up at attention and began fumbling his own commlink, before securing it and being at the ready. “Riggs, here. What’d’ya got for me, Commander?!” “I’m sending you the files. Let me explain what these are! When the government went after Bitcoin, we needed a way to fight back. We knew it wasn’t going to be a fight of guns, or bombs, or artillery. In that file is what we have deemed the “ios” protocol.” “Okay?! And that is…?!” Riggs responded. “I’m getting there, Riggs. Are you familiar with polymorphism?” he asked intently. “Pssh, uh yeah, duh! I wrote that entry on Wikipedia, thank you very much!” Riggs responded. “Okay, good. Glad you’re not too proud of that. Now, we’ve taken it to another level. If you’ll notice in the code that- “, he said before he was cut off. “Hold on” Riggs demanded as he read the words semi-aloud, building to a crescendo of realization “*mumbling*….to provide a polymorphic shell through WHICH THE COVERT CODE MAY INFILTRATE, EMBED, AND DEGRADE THE BLOCKCHAIN?! Is this real?!” “Riggs, yes. We were able to create a Trojan horse. Because the consensus has already recognized the shell code, it can’t kick it out, once the shell melts away.” Navarro continued. “So we can shut down StateCoin.” Riggs said as if he were having an epiphany. “Exactly! So what I need you to do-” Navarro confirmed. “Let me guess, infiltrate the payment layer, send a few coins down the shoot, and close the hatch, am I right?” he said condescendingly. “Bingo!” Navarro confirmed dryly. Moments later McKaylick was calling out the upcoming navigational change. “Brady! Hard right! Now!” As the van veered to the off-ramp, the two cars in tow followed “Where we goin’, McKaylick?! I need eyes!” Brady said anxiously. “The train yard, Brady! Just keep driving till you run out of road. Step on it!” she exclaimed. As Jonesie trailed in the pack, he gripped the wheel and clenched his teeth. He was running out of time, and had little opportunity left to complete his mission. Suddenly, a deep, booming voice appeared over his commlink. “I sent you for one thing. One thing, maggot. You have failed. We’re scrambling the jets. Don’t bother returning.” General Savas growled with contempt. Miles away two fighter jets on the prototype block chain system took off from a secret facility, screeching into the air. Back at the chase the convoy was approaching the entrance to the train yard. “I don’t know about this, McKaylick!” Brady boomed “Brady, just punch it!” she rebutted “Let’s do thiiiiiiisssss!” he yelled as the van punched through the gates of the closed yard and continued to zoom down its path. “Look alive, folks! 3 o’clock!” Brady said as he pointed to the driver side window. As the tracks came into view, a mammoth train and car were roaring around the bend and picking up speed on the straightaway. “Brady, McKaylick, Riggs, look alive!” Navarro blared over the commlink, “That’s our getaway car! McKaylick, prep the server for transport! Brady! I need you to get the truck as close to the tracks as possible! Once you’re in position, open the sliding door and prepare to off-load the server! Riggs! How are things going with the-“ Suddenly, a beeping sound interrupted Navarro’s instructions and began to increase in frequency. “Dang it!” Navarro exclaimed. “What’s going on, Commander?!” Brady asked worriedly. “It looks like Savas scrambled the protoypes!” Navarro said. “The what?!” Riggs asked. “The jets, Riggs! Locked and loaded!” the Commander explained, “Okay…Okay…Riggs! Time to test out that ‘ios’ protocol! I need you to locate the transfer layer that is transmitting the information and send a few torpedoes down the middle of that death star!” “On it, Chief!” Riggs replied. Jonesie gripped the wheel with white knuckles with one hand, and gritted his teeth as his eyes narrowed on the two vehicles ahead. With his off-hand he stroked an EMP device that was sitting in the passenger seat. “This is your time, Jonesie! If you can’t win, no one will!” he seethed to himself. As he flipped the first switch, the timer for the EMP device initiated. After looking up at the road to ensure his path, he reached over for a second switch that initiated the explosives. “Just in case” he gritted As he downshifted, he attempted to shoot the inside gap. Navarro was timing his move, and swerved in to block the pass and protect the van. As the two jockeyed for position, the train car’s side compartment began to open and a loading arm with a platform extended toward the van. With another denial by Commander Navarro, Jonesie faked inside and darted for the outside position. Navarro watched as Maserati Gigli went wide, as he timed the move in his head, he jerked the wheel hard to the left, careening into Jonesie and bouncing back into his original course. As Jonesie’s car clipped part of a loading ramp and it flipped onto its roof. As the car skidded and spun, the timers for the EMP and the explosives detonated consecutively. The shards of lightning ran through the car followed by a blast that ripped the car apart, sending pieces across the yard. “Riggs! Riggs! We got trouble! What’s going on?!” Navarro screamed Riggs was typing furiously, as code and program windows flashed on his screens. As the sweat dripped down his face, his breath became panicked. “Riggs! Where are you?! They are locked and loaded!” Navarro protested High above the two planes zeroed in on the train car. Within seconds of confirmation, four missiles were screaming forward, clawing through the air for their prey. “Now, Riggs, now! Missiles away! Missiles away!” Navarro screamed once more. As Riggs gained access to the layer of conveyance he began locating the ledger space and coding the shell for the XRP that would disrupt it and take out the capabilities of the planes and the missiles. Riggs could hear the buzzing sound on McKaylick’s console, as the missiles dove. For a second he closed his eyes, allowing the world to slow down. As he opened them and hit enter, the world seemed to go completely quiet. As the tokens entered the ledger, their cloned code degraded, leaving a settlement device for sabotage. The preying missiles began to self-destruct, exploding mid-air, and sending shockwaves overhead. He sat at his station for second more, in shock and disbelief, before Brady shook him out of it. “Riggs! Riggs! Let’s go. We did! Let’s go!” ** As the train approached the tunnel it slowed its paced and disappearing to the darkness of the mountain fortress, in the midst of a red, dry desert. “*XRP TRANSMISSION* >This is Commander Navarro. The server is safe. We will not rest. We have the power to fight. We have new morning ahead. StateCoin cannot win. Every wave starts with a Ripple…Commence Operation Ark. END TRANSMISSION”

  6. Hi anyone, as i'm gentleman i come to say hi here. I'm a Zerpist, invested (heavily) since a while (several months). just take a look here, follow your comments, and will give news or comments if i think it's good for anyone I m very active on twitter as #xrparmy and #xrpthestandard and connected to some ripple mentors, usually i comment there oups, i forgot to tell : i'm a XRP believer
  7. Any know when Sbi virtual exchange will officially launch? Has any information been realsed?
  8. I just remembered a quote from a great movie. I think many people will not believe it when XRP finally becomes the standard and panic will be all over the place. Here we go: I don't know what's wrong with all those FUDders that they can't see what is happening. It's all right in front of the eyes of everyone that can read and understand what Ripple is trying to do. Take it with a grain of salt
  9. Not sure if this goes in press section but I searched and couldn't find anyone posting this or discussing this either. This is very good news for XRP liquidity especially in inefficient corridors making that XRP sandwich even more irresistible (SGD--MXN; PHP--SGD etc) You think this is as big news as I do? Even if not, I think it's a good step in the right direction. Available pairs on QUOINEX include: XRP/USD, XRP/JPY, XRP/SGD, XRP/EUR, XRP/HKD, XRP/IDR, XRP/AUD, XRP/PHP, XRP/CNY. https://medium.com/@QUOINE/coin-of-the-week-ripple-xrp-f2842c97b1f9
  10. So this is my first post on XRP Chat... I've been following the likes of @JoelKatz, @Hodor and various other Top Members on here and on the Reddit Forum since I first bought my Zerps. I firstly wanted to commend the community for instilling such a positive attitude (to both Ripple and others within the community [even those who spread FUD]). When I first joined the Reddit Forum there were <40,000 members but that has since grown to over 160,000 in the last 6 weeks). I invested in late November and have used forums, YouTube, Ripple Insights etc... to keep a track of all the news and goings on which may affect the price of XRP in 2018 and beyond. I wondered what other people on the forum foresee being the 'Big' announcements for Ripple in the first two Quarters of the year. I've done quite a bit of reading and have listed a few of mine below: Q4 Report - This was initially a big one for me given the speculation about the '2 household names'. With that being said I understand that the majority of quarterly reporting (at least from traditional investments) merely 'rounds up' the trailing 3 months rather than speculates on forthcoming partnerships. SBI Holdings Pilot Feedback 31st January - The proposed date that SBI holdings (part of the Softbank Group) announce their results from utilisations of XRP as a source of liquidity within their group of 61 Japanese Banks. For those who don't know a great deal about Softbank, this business is HUUUUGEEE. I work within Consumer Electronics and Consultancy within the UK and Softbank have fingers in every pie (investments in Manchester Airport, The M6 Toll Road, Brightstar Electronics [Global Partner of Apple], 36% Share Holder of Alibaba). This is the BIG one for me; companies of this stature will deploy the XRP cost saving solution across the business (for inter-group financial transactions) and will hopefully have a big say in any stakeholder meetings with their extended investments. Brad Garlinghouse speaking at Yahoo Finance Conference - Brad will be supporting some big names within the world of Finance at the Yahoo Conference this year. Although I don't believe this will bring huge price action, I do think it will add further credibility to both Ripple and XRP (is the CEO of any other Crypto speaking there **ahem** Bitcoin **ahem**??) MoneyGram Pilot Conclusion - Pilot's can last months (and even years) so this is purely speculative but should Moneygram positively conclude their Pilot in 2018, I think this will bring some strong positive price action. Coinbase - The dreaded 'C' word... We all saw the negative action the Statement from their CEO brought to Ripple... This (in my opinion) proves the potential of a listing on Coinbase and the potential upswing this would bring. I've seen it written thousands of times, but psychology has a strong baring on the Retail Investor and I genuinely believe that a coin listed in 'Sub-$XXX' listed on CB, will attract much more 'Newbies' looking to find the next 'Moonshot'. Speculation - Since I first Invested (Late November [Thanks to The TeenageInvestor on Youtube]) there has been limited 'Real World' utilisation of XRP as a genuine source for on demand liquidity. Admittedly , some companies (Cuallix) have been using it Day to Day but on the whole, the majority of utilisation has been in 'Pilot' form or has been sidestepped for pure RippleNet testing. I do believe however, that once companies realise the potential to free up any liquidity held for oversees remittance etc... that at that point, XRP will come into its own. Additional PR - This is one I've dreamt up on my own but given that Ripple as a business are on what looks like recruitment drive for Marketing Experts (recent hire of ex-Facebook Marketeer), I believe they will be putting a lot of pressure on MSM to keep up the positive momentum surround Crypto and Ripple/XRP. Market Pressures - Competition in any market is positive for business. VISA recruiting BlockChain specialists with experience of Ripple R3, ETH and BTC means they are trying to catch a slice of the market Ripple are seeking. This will be exciting to watch given that Ripple are some years ahead of the competitors and VISA already have the majority of Key Account Partnerships tied up in their existing business. Nevertheless, I see this as excellent for Ripple and Blockchain in general. Other Listed Companies riding the 'Crypto Wave' - As we have seen recently, partnerships with Crypto's bring positive action (to both the Crypto and the Stock [Moneygram being one example]). I therefore wouldn't be surprised if more Fortune 500, FTSE100 etc... companies start trialling and experimenting with Blockchain in their existing business to bring some returns for their shareholders. Those are just a few of my thoughts. I would love to hear the thoughts from some of the other 'Top Members' @XRPto50dollars, @RegalChicken, @buckor, @Chewiecoin and where they see the price action arriving this year. Thanks for reading. #XRPtheStandard

  12. Looks like Bitcoin was created by the NSA. Check out the author and date. http://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/classes/6.805/articles/money/nsamint/nsamint.htm I'm thinking the entire Cryptoverse is as well. Now I'm thinking all these crypto currencies are probably all trackable, but just made to look anonymous so us moon boys foolishly pump all our money into them and feel safe about it. I've also been thinking about Ripple. Even though it can hold liquidity between two currencies, I have a feeling that XRP will eventually become the one and only new WORLD currency for a New World Order. But I don't really see why you're all pumping money into crypto currency when every person on the planet pretty much has complete access to their treasury accounts that are worth millions if not billions of dollars. Here's a link. http://i-uv.com/hatj-trust-all-on/documents-for-proof-of-ownership-for-funds/ Btw, all banks and governments have been foreclosed worldwide, they just haven't told you yet. 13. I recently attended a one hour webinar by Deloitte titled “Blockchain: Measuring its evolution and development via open-source collaboration.” The webinar was part of Deloitte’s Dbriefs Financial Services series and can be accessed for free here: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/dbriefs-webcasts/events/september/2017/dbriefs-blockchain-measuring-its-evolution-and-development-via-open-source-collaboration.html Thousands of professionals attend these webinars. For those of you who do not know who Deloitte is, from their Wikipedia page: The primary topics of the webinar were (1) recent developments in the blockchain space (including ICOs) and (2) analyzing blockchain projects on GitHub. I will cover the second topic as the first topic did not provide much new information. Deloitte performed an analysis of the blockchain ecosystem on Github. ~90,000 projects 7-8% are actively maintained Only 5% of forked projects survive Projects have an average lifespan of 1.03 years In addition, there are four main blockchain communities. Ethereum Bitcoin Corda Ripple Based on their analysis, Rippled is considered one of the top 20 central projects on Github. It is number 8. Ripple client is 17. Many of the others I am not familiar with. Commercially backed projects are flourishing. Rippled (aka XRP) is just one of two commercial grade currencies highlighted by Deloitte. I only covered four of the slides. There are several more. If you are interested in watching the webinar, see the link above.
  14. As stated in my conversation, I noticed this change when I studied Ripple's progression. Confirmation is rewarding. Notice his use of "massively?" He has also said XRP price will go up massively when FIs start to source XRP. This is the plan. It would solve liquidity. all trials and PoCs up to this point have used "house money." As Dilip Rao has said, they are done with PoCs. Everyone knows it works now. My opinion is we will all know when they are about to go live. it will be a big event including multiple banks. The size of sourcing will be controlled, but still large compared to our retail purchases. This will squeeze supply and coupled with our frenzy, demand will go up "massively." HODL! This is all my opinion. do your own due diligence, Dont invest more than you can afford to lose. I could be wrong.
  15. New material on Ripple site, looks like a slogan upgrade Join RippleNet "The world’s ONLY enterprise blockchain solution for global payments" https://ripple.com/ New marketing material as well
  16. I was thinking maybe since everyone here is from different parts of the world they can speak about which wallets they use and why just to keep this subject in the forefront because there's new things being developed daily it seems. I personally keep mine on the kraken exchange however I just ordered a nano ledger s because that's what was recommended most from what I've been reading. Thanks everyone for participating.
  17. Always grateful when fellow members of the Crypto-community spreads good news about Ripple XRP. The Modern Investor on Youtube is one of these people and it appears that he is a frequent lurker on XRPchat. What's your handle MI? say HI! #XRPtheStandard #OurTimeWillCome
