I find it odd that the currencies with the supply of more than a billion lie within the range of 0 and 1. To name a few IOTA available supply: 2.7 billion NEM available supply: 8.9 billion Bytecoin, Bitshares and Stellar lumens also have the supply of more than a billion and are lying between 0 and 1. Now I know that IOTA was $1.08 a few days ago but right now its less than 0.5. I have'nt done any research in the used cases of these coins so I dont really know if they are providing any value to the purpose of their creation but my concern is that XRP is following the same case here, I know that XRP has nt come into play yet but 38 Billion in available supply not to mention the other 55 billion for escrow. That brings me to my question which is that is it really possible to see XRP crossing $1 or not? Why did ripple give public such a huge amount of supply of XRP when in reality we are not even their primary users? Is convincing banks to buy xrp at a smaller price the only reason why they did this? Would love to hear your thoughts.
