Stuur me dan gerust even een PM.
  2. https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-retirement-fund-provider-adds-ripple-in-ira-product-update/ "BitcoinIRA, a company that allows users to create retirement funds based on cryptocurrencies, is adding new options to its portfolio. Starting with Ripple's XRP token from today, the firm also plans to add further cryptocurrencies in coming weeks, including litecoin, ethereum classic and bitcoin cash." "In a statement, BitcoinIRA spoke positively about XRP, calling it "the best digital asset for payments" and stating that it is "one of the largest digital assets by market capitalization."
  3. anybody know why majority of the coins are dropping? ALL I SEE IS RED! #timetobuymore
  4. Hi! Everyone I would like to know which is the best option if i want to acquired XRP for long term on GateHub. 1. Trade option on GateHub? or 2. Exchange option on GateHub? First thing i noticed is that the price on exchange is slightly higher than trading price. Am considering keeping them on a Ledger Nano S, i guess my only option is Exchange or can i trade and transfer the xrp to my hardwallet.? Thank you in advance .
  5. I compare XRP head-to-head against Ethereum and Bitcoin. Despite my obvious leanings, I didn't pull any punches, and list off the results and my findings - some surprised me! Hope you enjoy the latest blog entry - it was a follow up on the "new investors" piece a few days ago where I talked about a comparison checklist. Let me know your feedback positive or negative below, and please feel free to share on any other forum or media! 6. Investment firm Goldco has created a CoinIRA that combines popular cryptocurrencies into pre-packaged bundles for retirement account funding. Goldco’s Digital IRA bundles include bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple’s XRP, ether and Ethereum Classic. http://blocktribune.com/goldco-creates-cryptocurrency-ira-bundles/
  7. Just doing some Google trends comparisons and saw the following: 2004-present for xrp, ripple and interledger: As you can see, spikes in price coincide nicely with spikes in organic searches entered by Google users. First one was in May, second one is happening now. Also interesting that "Interledger" / "interledger protocol" etc all have almost no search volume. "Xrp" shows the same trend, only volume is lower. When we compare this against "Swift", I think we get a sense of the true potential for Ripple & xrp, take a look: This just made my day
  8. Experts agree that we are heading for an economic correction soon; will XRP become a viable safe haven asset? Will it rival gold? I discuss this in my latest blog entry. I hope you enjoy the read! I think eventually all of crypto - and especially XRP - might become a viable safe haven asset like some fiat-based currencies or even gold. Let me know your feedback, positive or negative, and please share as much as you like on other media! 9. Artificial Intelligence has the potential to integrate closely with crypto-currency: I discuss these points and describe where XRP interacts with machine learning. There's a LOT of potential in machine learning - after reading, I might even try out a "trade bot" of my own if I have time. Open source projects are out there! Hope you enjoy - let me know any feedback below, and please feel free to share over other media. 11. G'day, I have spent the past couple of weeks reading as much as I can about cryptocurrency, learning how it works and how to invest and just a few days ago, I bought my first parcel of XRP. It's all a little overwhelming at this point as there is so much information to wade through and sorting the good from the not so good has been a challenge. But I have found this forum and there seems to be a lot of good people here so I hope to learn more from a community of like minded investors. Anyway, just introducing myself here and I hope to engage in some good discussion.
  12. Hey Everyone, New to forum community, but been a believer in Ripple for a while now. I just wanted to get some other's takes on the connection of this story with the recent ICO ban. From what I gather, XRP meets with the heads of the PBOC and then a few days later there is an ICO ban? Think this is connected to the recent swirl of rumors relating to XRP trying to enter the CHN marketplace? https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-talks-with-peoples-bank-of-china-key-to-chinese-blockchain-market
  13. Just out of curiosity, how many XRP tokens do you have?

  15. Today is a special day. Today I realized that Ripple & XRP are part of my life. Ripple & XRP will be a part of everyone's life - know it or not. Ripple & XRP is now and will be forever in the future... Here is my visual representation - feel free to post, share, distribute, educate... 16. In this article I found there is a XRP Woocommerce plugin available called Woocommerce RIpple Gateway. For those who don't know. Wordpress is a very large platform (maybe the largest in the world) for creating websites online. From the article: Payments in XRP are made a bit more easy with this plugin The creator (q-invoice: Casper Mekel) seems to be active for a long time. However the plugin is not fully tested and it's support not guaranteed so use with caution would be my advice.
  17. Hi all Happy for my post to be moved somewhere else. My question is: in the past, Ripple Chart website used to report the number of accounts, and also a plot showing how many accounts had been created, but this number/plot is not anymore available... Any idea, where to find it? It was really useful to get an idea of the total XRP accounts...
  18. The new influx of crypto investment is not going to look like our existing demographic! I discuss what this means for evaluation of crypto choices and its impact on XRP. I hope you enjoy the read - I learned quite a bit along the way; Maybe I have my XRP-colored glasses on again , but I think traditional investors pouring into the market are going to do a careful comparative analysis that will lead them to XRP. Ultimately, I feel that they will respect the most traditional of choices when it comes to digital assets... the one that works with banks. Feel free to leave feedback below positive or negative, and please share my post on any other media of your choice. 19. So i have been trying to find a decent exchange for a while now. When i first started looking to invest in ripple i did some "top exchange" searches and some "how to buy ripple" searches. I posted some threads on reddit.. and even a complete tutorial i followed was a step y step how to buy ripple.. and every one of these told me to use COINBASE... I was like ok. and i tried it. it worked. it required a little more information than i liked but from what i understood the prices were fair. So i used it for a couple of weeks until i decided to do a Bank account transfer which took 8 days. then i complained about it and someone said. "why are you using COINBASE?" use Kraken or Polo they dont charge as much, coinbase sucks, ect. " So i looked into kraken and the overall layout of the site is horrid. very non user friendly but i felt i could learn to use it in time.. then i started the verification process which has already taken 4 days and i still cant do anything on it because im not verified yet. I can exchange other crypto for riipple but that just means i again have to buy another currency and pay that fee..the exchange fee and another fee.. ugh. Then i looked into kraken and saw more posts saying "why are you using an exchange that requires identity verification?" so it seems like every time i find a new exchange.. im doing something wrong.. im paying too much or giving away too much information. TL:DR: So what i am looking for is to be able to do 3 main things without needing a lot of identification verification. 1. I want to be able to use my credit card or bank account (not that 8 day nonsense like coinbase) to buy ripple directly. 2. I want to be able to transfer that ripple directly to my paper wallet. 3. I need to be able to transfer large amounts (5 figure) back to my bank account. bonus.. a nice user interface would be a plus.. but not required.
  20. XRP is at $0.25500 . What will be a good entry price for a long position?
  21. Question posed by Ripple reddit user; I just can't fathom why banks don't just adopt the infrastructure Ripple has created and just disuse XRP entirely? Answer: (Joel Katz)" Because the infrastructure that Ripple is building provides fast payments but not fast settlement. Right now, it doesn't matter that much that it takes a few days to settle a payment because the payment itself takes about that long. But if the payment can complete in seconds and the settlement still takes days, customers will still have to pre-fund their payments to avoid the slow path. That means it will cost their customers a lot more. One of the key factors driving banks to Ripple right now is that banks want to save their customers money, particularly for new corporates that spend a lot of money pre-funding payments. Take Uber for example. Uber wants a person to drive for them because they need extra money to buy groceries. For that to work, Uber has to be able to pay people in many countries within an hour. While Uber is more extreme, companies like AirBNB, Amazon and even more traditional companies like Seagate need to make rapid payments all over the world. Today, a company would do that by keeping a pile of money in every market they might need to pay into. But that costs them a fortune. If their payments could settle quickly, they would save those outlays and every bank wants their business. Fortunately, international payments are almost as bad today as international settlement is. So Ripple can make a business out of providing better and aster payments even if banks still have to use traditional correspondents for the settlement. So banks do see huge value in Ripple even without XRP. But every bank that uses Ripple's payment system also eliminates all the technical obstacles to settling with XRP. So for a payment where XRP is faster, cheaper, or both, there's absolutely no reason for them not to use it."
  22. http://bit.ly/2wtkUxt On top of which tech would that be? And how soon, as in October, let's say the 16th? @mars75 does it fit somewhere in your research on connections in India?
  23. Everybody here seems to think that somewhere this year or the next, one or two banks will announce using XRP. I think that isn't possible. Simply because if bank A wants to transfer XRP to bank B...this other bank needs to be on the RippleNet as well. So in my opinion there will be no banks announcing to use Ripple (or XRP) the coming years OR a LOT OF BANKS will be announcing to start using XRP all at the same time. Simple said: Almost all banks need to use Ripple before anything can really happen. Or am I wrong?
  24. Prolly a silly question but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Hypothetically speaking someone wants to cash out of their positions but the total sum of fiat they have exceeds the monthly withdrawal limits on said exchange is there anyway to cash it out properly?
  25. New information I hope, I am new to posting, been a hodler since early spring of this year. I hope this helps some maybe? Could be very old news. My apologies if it is. In other XRP news, Arabian Business recently reported that the UAE Exchange was in talks with Ripple over a potential partnership to streamline payments. The UAE Exchange, which is one of the oldest remittance houses in the UAE, wants to use Ripple’s distributed ledger technology to introduce real time, cross-border payments. http://invezz.com/news/forex/27034-Ripple-price-XRPUSD-rises-amid-broader-cryptocurrency-rally
