Another topic lead me to ask this here so that interested people may participate: (im not doubting the Nano.. im seriously interested to see why its so secure or not) In order to use the Nano safely, you need to download the update to 1.3.1 BUT.. whose to say the update isnt compromised? or that the website you download it from isnt a fake website? or that the Ledger Manager wasnt compromised? The Ledger Manager is just a program found on https://chrome.google.com... so we have to trust chrome??? Could, theoretically, the Nano UPDATE be corrupted with a virus and therefor render the Nano unsafe? To conclude my ramblings... if the Nano is so secure... why need updates in the first place? if its secure.. updates would be like putting a band aid on healthy skin.
