Hi everybody! Just lost a bunch of XRP using the jatchili minimalist ripple client to generate my cold wallet. Per the linked post, it seems as though the issue is using the tool on Safari browser, which I was. The secret key I was given doesn't belong to my cold wallet address (even though both showed on the client at the same time and I printed it) - I've confirmed this on multiple sites. When I first set up the cold wallet, I did a test send to the address and it worked fine, I could validate that the XRP transferred and I didn't think I also should test my ability to send FROM the wallet, or test the key at all. That was my mistake. Only after I transferred the bulk of my XRP did I attempt a transfer any out. Then I realized that my key is useless and my wallet is without an owner. Is there any chance of Ripple giving these funds back to me? I mean, this web client is recommended in a number of posts of the Ripple forum, and I'm not the only user to have these issues. Seems like they must know about the problem and a warning would have been nice.

Hi. I've been trying to send XRP from my offline XRP wallet off/on now for a few weeks now and have not been successful. When I first bought the XRP from the exchange and sent the XRP to the offline wallet, I was having trouble as well. This time, however, it seems that I'm getting a consistent error. I've been trying to use the ripple client at https://jatchili.github.io/minimalist-ripple-client/ and keep getting the same error: Transaction finalized with error: {"result":"tejMaxLedger","result_message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded","engine_result":"tejMaxLedger","engine_result_message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded","message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded"} This error I get even if I'm not sending the total balance in the wallet. I have no trust lines or anything like that and even if I attempt to send 20 XRP less, I get the same error. I'm wondering if I'm sending the correct number. If the wallet balance is 899972999, and I try to send 879.972999 on the form (assuming the correct receiving wallet/tag), should the transaction go through without error? Please help. I feel like my XRP is stuck there with no way for me to trade/use it. TIA.

Hi Folks, I have using the minimalist ripple client and have good luck with it. (BTW, I am not using this on Apple-based browsers/platforms, so I do not have security issues) You can view the client here: https://jatchili.github.io/minimalist-ripple-client/ I do have a question regarding the "Trade" function with the client. How do you make a "Sell" offer?? I am able to make a "Buy" offer on XRP / USD/Bitstamp trading pair by doing this: 100 (Takerpays amount) XRP (Takerpays CUR/Issuer) 20.00 (Takergets amount) USD/rxxxx (Takergets CUR/Issuer) In the above example, this creates a Buy offer for 100 XRP for $20.00 USD/Bitstamp at 0.20 each. How would I create a "Sell" offer for my 100 XRP to sell for 25.00 USD/Bitstamp at 0.25 each? I have tried different configurations with those 4 fields, but no luck, or maybe I am missing a symbol?? Any help would be great!!! Thanks in advance! Rippler123
