  2. How do you convert you XRP to USD? There are many exchange sites but I can't find websites that convert XRP straight to USD. You'll first have to convert your XRP to BTC and in that case you'll have to pay double taxes (at least in the US)! Who knows exchange sites that convert your XRP straight to USD? Am I the only one who is afraid that you cannot trade your XRP back into dollars/euros/etc?
  3. Ripple Sold More than $160 Million Worth of XRP Last Quarter https://cryptotown.io/news/ripple-sold-more-than-160-million-worth-of-xrp-last-quarter-ccn/index.html Could this make a price jump or dump?
  4. Dear Ripplers, You can now exchange XRP for more than 100 alt coins for low fees at CryptoWolf There is also the option to buy XRP with BTC / ETH / DASH / XMR / BCH / LTC for a fee of 0.25 XRP.
  5. When I first intended to buy xrp it was at .25. I had planned on spending $2500 u.s. but the wife knocked it down to $1000. Fine. I have to live with her the rest of my life. The $1000 included $100 for a ledger nano s. This was early December. Finally got verified by the end of the year. I bought LTC on coinbase because they accept USD. Moved ltc to gdax, (read it was cheaper to use ltc than btc), moved ltc to bitstamp, converted to USD, bought xrp. Origianlly bought on coinbase with CC because I wanted to get in. Now after fee, fee, fee I had 300+xrp. I want more. Sooo, an order to get more without depositing more then its playtime. I start selling high, buying low. I'm doing like 10 transactions a day. (stay home dad and kids home for winter break). I did fine. I got some extra xrp. Nowhere near enough. Then I see some posts about taxes. UGGGH! Every trade??!? CMON. I can just see myself at the end of the year with hundreds of transactions to deal with. So now I'm a true HODLer. Still havnt received the nano s (coming from France), but as soon as it arrives and it is set up the XRP goes in, the nano goes in my safe and I'll be happy with what I have.
  6. I recently used Gatehub to submit a sell order using their “trade” option. To my surprise, what I thought was a stop loss sell order executed immediately rather than executing at the price I had indicated. The price I wanted to sell at was 2.15, in case the price dipped down too low. Instead it was immediately filled at the current rate of 2.47. I had also set up a buy order at around 2. So, I’m not sure what the difference there is between using their exchange vs trade? I think I’m going to transfer my assets to Poloniex as it seems they have more robust trading options rather than the limited options Gatehub offers.
  7. Here's how I do it...Buy ETH or BTC on Coinbase, send to Binance and exchange to XRP then send to my wallet. What I've noticed is it seems that Coinbase has inflated prices when it comes to BTC and ETH. For example as I'm writing this, Coinbase has ETH at 720 and on Binance it's 669. This is a huge difference. I buy with USD. This way of trading has been very easy for me, (knock on wood) with no hiccups, I've done 4 trades. Should I be doing it a better way to get a better price? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
  8. Ripple (XRP) registered today (link below) a transaction of 0.9 billion XRP that translated into an impressive 700 million USD. Even though the identity of the person, or most likely a big company/firm, is still unknown this represents major confidence in the project and the underlying technology of Ripple (XRP). https://oracletimes.com/ripple-xrp-someone-just-bought-700-million-usd-in-xrp-major-investment/
  9. I use Gatehub but haven't tried another Ripple Network exchange, what about you guys?
  10. Opened an account over 1 week ago on Bittrex bittrex.com. I have put all my information, sent in my ID and selfie photo. Set up Google Authentication. I can transfer BTC and XRP in but I can't withdraw anything until they do whats called Enhanced Verification. Everything is stuck in Bittrex and can't withdraw anything. Does anyone have any info on what they are doing with my information? Are they calling the IRS? What is the timeline to get Enchanced Verification to withdraw? I'm about ready to drive to Las Vegas where there corporate HQ is located to get some answers. Starting to get mad as hell at them! Other Exchanges I have been verified and can do withdraws or whatever I need to do.
  11. First post - written on 9/14 I look at XRP couple last few days price action as bullish. After the 4400 satoshi dip on China ICO regulation, XRPBTC finds support even on the China Exchange closure news, whereas all the major pairs are pressured against BTC. Among the major tokens, XRP looses the least as of this writing, a bullish sign in my book. I look for Ben Bernanke speaking at SWELL on October 16-18 triggering the time old "buy the rumor, sell the news" trade. I can hardly imagine any executive attending Sibos, skipping the speech of a former Fed chairman whose words the market scrutinized for clues in shift of Federal Reserve policy. Which significant XRP hodler would want to bail out before an event main financial news networks are expected to echo? Owning to the Fed participation in the cooperative oversight of SWIFT, Ben Bernanke views on international settlement and digital assets are a certain watch. https://www.federalreserve.gov/paymentsystems/over_pssystems.htm Which trader or investor can discount the potential for SWELL to be a turning point in Ripple's life? I added a a short term trade to my position several days prior to this post. If Bernanke makes forward looking statements about XRP, I expect a few banking executives to privately buy in. If so I anticipate the network effect to have a greater impact than expected on the long term. Price support would certainly be worth considering by Ripple.
  12. If I see something, I will post it here. If you notice something off pricewise from different exchanges/pairs/IOUs, please let us know so we can all take advantage of it before the bots go back to their normal states.
  13. XRP is the future i got this from Ripple.com and was going through article with link below, Major thing here was confidence in words, Please tell me if you felt the same. Here you go. "It’s a question of WHEN, not IF, banks and other financial institutions begin using digital assets in their day-to-day business operations and it will be interesting to see who the winners and losers in the digital asset space will be. We are confident that XRP will succeed because it has a purpose – enabling financial institutions to send money across borders quickly, cheaply, and easily – that is relevant to businesses and consumers everywhere." https://ripple.com/insights/nine-things-need-know-xrp/ Thanks

  17. Please help, I am an electrician who does not understand wallets, migrating, trading, exchanging, etc. I just really need help understanding the basics because up to this point gatehub is just a scam. I'm a simple man and I base that on the fact of how easy it was for them to except close to $10,000 USD from me so I could buy XRP no I want to do a test with raw and have it deposited into my account so I know this actually works and gate hub is nowhere to be found. A lot of articles are too technical and assume I understand what migrate means. Anyways when I sign into gate hub and click on Wallet I several wallets disabled then I see a ripple wallet which has a balance of XRP, I see a gate a hub wallet which has a zero balance of US dollars, and I see a gate hub fifth wallet which has a zero bit coin balance. First question does this seem correct? Second question, how do I transfer money to my US bank account? I read something about transferring my XRP to one of my wallets and then transferring it to my bank account . I think you and advance and if you're in my area and need a light or a fan installed feel free to ask
  18. Hello. This is a very noobie question because I simply don't know the difference. If I have some XRP in Gatehub, and I want to buy some BTC with it, should I use the "Trade" or the "Exchange" tab? Which one would cost me less to buy the BTC and why are there 2 different methods to do the same thing? Appreciate any and all responses
  19. Hello All, I am looking to invest in a crypto related business, ideally an exchange. This is a serious proposal, I have cash (GBP) to invest in an exisiting business or a start-up. One option is for me to be an investor on a silent partner basis. Another option is to invest and to also contribute towards expansion and development of the project by project assisting/management and php coding. I have sent an email to one exchange but heard nothing back. In the coming days I will be contacting others en masse in the hope that progress can be made. - Are you thinking of crypto related start-up? - Do you already have one and are open to a cash injection for expansion? - Are you aware of a crypto related business that might be interested in my proposal? Please post here and let me know your views about crypto related investments in general and also about any business opportunities. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks
  20. Hi everyone, I am a novice trader so I am asking for help from some of the more experienced people here.... At the moment I am using Gatehub and very happy with their service. I am 100% in XRP at the moment and at this time can say have made a good profit. I want to safeguard at least a portion of my profit but at the same time I do not want to pull out of XRP or miss out on a positive outbreak. Can anyone be kind enough to advise how I can put in an order so that if the price falls below say 0.19c for example, it triggers a sale for my xrp to usd? I normally view charts in XRP vs USD.Bitstamp and only use Gatehub To be honest I sometimes get confused placing orders and I see it is quite easy for a typo to cause havoc. I thank you all in advance. Unfortunately, trading is not my strong suit.
  21. Highlight of this morning while I was wondering at Coinone's website - I discover that their exchange platform has just started today. Hodlrs get ready for a nice ride this weekend! Best, RAVINTOLX
  22. Hello folks, I found https://cryptowat.ch/ which seems to be quite nice with all the indicators. Gatehub is missing certain features in the trade view so I was looking for services that provide them. Bitstamp is listed at cryptowatch but Gatehub not. Does somebody know why that is? Do the Gatehub folks have maybe more information about future plans on their trade view? I am not a pro trader and do not know all the quirks but some trend line features would be cool to have. Cheers, Tim.
  23. Bitcoin Trade The purpose of our project - attraction of investments for trade at the crypto-currency exchange. We trade in couple of BTC-USDT. Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency, million daily turns on exchange platforms, rapid and frequent shift. USDT is usual dollar, but in a digital form, his course remains invariable and is always equal to dollar. Our project is suitable more for medium-term and long-term investors who want to get stable monthly profit. Is suitable for aggressive short-term investors less Our project doesn't belong to category hyip or a financial pyramid because it it isn't. We don't make payments to the first investors at the expense of the subsequent, etc. All enclosed sum is in real work at the exchange, and all this will be visible on warrants. Besides, the statistics of replenishments, a conclusion and overall balance is transparent and open. Also, you shouldn't consider our project as investment or other fund. We accept replenishment of balance as your voluntary contribution and the help to the project, and you accept the profit as our help and gratitude for cooperation with us. My deposit in the project 0.79 BTC
  24. One of the areas where Bitcoin has been shining over Ripple and other cryptocurrencies is in trade between digital assets. With SBI now partnered with Ripple and Kraken, this could be about to change. If Ripple continues to build and take advantage of its banking partnerships in Asia and around the world, XRP will no doubt become the major bridge currency for trade between fiat. If the new bank-backed exchanges really do have XRP as the bridge between all assets, both digital and fiat, then XRP's dominance within both spaces will be assured. At the moment, Bitcoin is really the only link people have to the other cryptocurrencies. Much of bitcoins recent growth could be attributed to growth of the space in general and its role as bridge currency. With Bitcoins current issues and the unique position held by Ripple's XRP, that could be about to shift.
  25. Hello everyone, Does anyone know of any way to securely sign offline TRADE transactions by creating offers from a cold storage PC? I am currently using rippex client for creating offline payment transactions, which works well but does not seem to have offline functionality regarding trade transactions. I have tried installing rippled-lib but ended up NOT using it due to a warning on the site: "Caution: Unless you run the rippled server yourself, you should do local signing with RippleAPI instead of using this command. An untrustworthy server could change the transaction before signing it, or use your secret key to sign additional arbitrary transactions as if they came from you." So i went to RippleAPI page where it says if want to sign a transaction i have to use this: "sign(txJSON: string, secret: string, options: Object): {signedTransaction: string, id: string}" I have no idea how to use this, is there any client application like rippex that can handle this offline by inputting the required parameters? Thank you for any info you can share
