Hi, I have a problem with TOAST wallet: 1) I have the PIN, the passhprase and the wallet backup 2) I go into the app, see my XRPs and see the transactions etc. 3) but a little while ago I discovered through their TWITTER profile that the wallet was no longer working for a few months 4) even if i log into the app and see my balance i can't transfer funds. It tells me that the "passphrase is incorrect" "The passphrase or recovery phrase is incorrect" 5) I have seen that other people also have the same problem 6) thank you in advance if someone can please help me solve the problem Pablo

Hi All, I transferred my xrp from toast to xumm last week. But, I got no recovery phrase offered by xumm during or after the setup. As far as I understand, I should be using the toast recovery phrase in case I have to restore my xumm wallet on a new device? Just wanted to confirm from the community here. Not able to find clear info anywhere else. TIA

Hey everyone, I am using toast wallet since 2018, but as they are not in service anymore I want to shift my funds to a better or equally good paper wallet. After some research I found "Bithomp" as the only viable option. Kindly share your thoughts about Bithomp & give me some recommendations (if any). I am not ready to invest into hardware wallet at the moment, hence I am looking for paper wallet recommendations only. After some research, I am quite sure that wallets like "Coinomi, Exodus & Atomic" are not secure like paper wallets. So, they are out of the list already. TIA

HI, 2 questions about Toast wallet on Windows 10 .. 1 - Apart from being portable, is there any benefit using the Windows 10 Installer over the Portable Executable ( or vice versa )? 2 - I've been playing around with uninstalliing/securing Toast Wallet and found that if you move/delete the "IndexedDB" folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ToastWallet then the wallet effectively resets. When you next run the executable, instead of your already set up PIN screen it takes you to the Licence Agreement screen for setting up a new wallet. Restoring this folder then restores your wallet. Is it safe to say that hard deleting these files would be all it takes to "uninstall" your actual wallet from a PC ? Reason I'm asking - I'm looking to create a Veracrypt encrypted archive of my Toast wallet, containing just the portable executable and these IndexedDB files. This way I can effectively keep my Ripple Wallet offline when not in use as without these files, if someone gains access to my PC and opens Toast they would just get the startup Licence Agreement screen and process for setting up a new Wallet. Uninstalling Toast does not do this as the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ToastWallet" files are not deleted when uninstalling. And yes I'm aware of the risk of a keylogger getting my Veracrypt password and then somehow opening the archive and copying these files back and cracking my Toast PIN and getting my Ripple, happy to take that risk. I will also be taking a Toast Wallet backup as per the instructions and locking that away seperately. I just need to know if deleting/locking these IndexDB files is enough to prevent access to my Toast wallet. Cheers, Dave

Looking for help, Has anyone on this forum, that stores their xrp in toast wallet had any unauthorized transactions? I recently went to check my balance of xrp after not logging into my toast wallet for a few months only to discover that all but 28 xrp have been withdrawn from my account. I did not authorize this transaction nor did I initiate this transaction. I thought my xrp was safe being stored in my toast wallet. To make matters worse, there appears to be no customer support for toast wallet. I have tried reaching out to them on this forum numerous times only to be met with silence. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me as to how I can go about getting my xrp back and or how I could get toast wallet customer service to respond. Thank you

Hi, im a XRP hodler and I have a problem: last year I bought some XRP and decided to store them in Toast wallet. wrote down everything needed but didn’t do a back up(actually in no other wallet back up is so important for recovery ) . as I understood at a later stage when my kids deleted the Toast app and I tried to recover my coins when I did download the app , the back up became the only important thing which I would do to be able to recover the coins. any idea how I can recover the coins in other wallet with my keys? thanks

Hi - may be a stupid question but just wanted to be sure. I've taken a backup of my Toast Wallet as per instructions. Do I need to make further backups when changes occur e.g. I send more Ripple or Toast Wallet gets updated to a newer version ? Cheers, Dave

Does anybody know how to completely uninstall Toast Wallet from my phone or PC ? Because I have uninstalled the wallet from my Android phone, installed it again but it will remember all wallet data which were installed before. It`s nothing wrong with this wallet ,everything is fine and I love it but I`m just curious if I sell my phone or my laptop and the new owner will install the same wallet then he will have access to my funds (the wallet is still protected by a PIN code but if someone know that PIN will have access to it ). Thanks.
